We have two directors in the choir department, so while we're all really sad to see one leave, we know that the program will be continuing on. Plus, the school district has hired a replacement already, and I hear he's really good.

Thanks to everyone for the warm thoughts about our win--I'm still in shock. :D Best of luck to you all on the completion of your seasons.

what do you have to be in shock about..... you had a great show, and the crowd along with the judges loved it
ive gotta say that i applaud you for doing Earth song! if you sing that song wrong, which is easily done, your bound to lose the best vocals and i LOVE THAT SONG! my number favorite song in the world!!!!! well, next to happy birthday

Ahh thank you so much (: This was our directors last competition with our school and we're all really sad we have to lose him ): Hopefully our JV director can keep things moving forward next year! Such a great note to end on for our seniors. And who knows how long it has been since we've swept!! An amazing feeling! During finals warm up half of our choir was in tears and we all cherish that last time on stage together (: Thank you everyone who came out to watch and to all who competed (:

I was a year off...GISH won CR Jefferson in 2005. They were quite good that year.

It's a shame that y'all keep going through directors. There was so much that was going really well for you guys this year. I hope that your next director can keep the momentum going as well.

Was it really that long? Well...Nevermind, six is close enough. I was pretty sure that GISH would take it. I saw them at Urbandale and felt they were going to have a shot to do RIDICULOUSLY well this year. It's great to see their back on form!

Thank you! and yes its been a longg time, we've been through about 4 directors in the past few years so its been tough. I know that a lot of people in our group were blown away by your group and we all thought Happiness Inc should have taken first at urbandale

Stephen was sitting at the Judges table but he was actually not a judge! (: Haha Good job everyone I had an awesome time (:

lord have mercy it was a competition! i love OG to death! know alot of the performers i love Vermilllion and Aberdeean just as much and now im in love With Mitchell and GISH! talk about a good show!!! congrats to OG of course and GISH for sweeping it! and an awesome performance by MITCHELL!!! loved it!
p.s. stephen todd was only a critiquer... he didnt get any points down just ran back and forth to give notes with the other lady. the other judges were the ones to judge by numbers
one last thing is that Washington and OG tied during Prelims and only reason Washington pulled 2nd was due to Vocal score..... OG won finals by 1 point.... thats a good competition! GISH won by 15 points so to me! this was a really really good competition!!!!

Good job to my friends over at GISH, it is always a good feeling to be able to go in somewhere and clean house.

Thanks alot!! It felt like tons of hard work finally paid off. It's been a while since GISH has been grand champion and it was awesome to be apart of it.

This year, OG placed second in prelims at East, but then third in finals behind Washington.

OG also placed ahead of Washington in 2002 and 2005.

(This is a response to Aboyd, btw.)
