Jefferson always does extremely well in Indiana. In 06 they were only .5 pts away from beating CG and took vocals from them. And in the in 07, one of their worst years in recent memory, they went on to beat Lawrence Central and took vocals from Carmel. I would say they should win this hands down.

Where did laf jef beat lc in 07 ?? I kno at CG in 07 Cs got 3'd after NC and HN at Anderson We Won over HN, state we got 3'd after Carmel and NC we went to MIC but idk our placement....

just got word central sound received all 2rups untill anderson which we (cs) won so i think your facts are wrong sir laf jef did NOT beat us in 2007. years before most definitely they were amazing.

also carmel was AMAZINGINGLY good in 2007 so if they lost to laff jeff it HAD to be early in the season..jus saying

also bak to this comp lol i think first edition will do well they wont sweep tho probably not top 3 even

I thought that 2006 was their down year...Wasn't that the "Children of Eden" year? I thought that they were much improved, vocally at least, in 2007.

Both were bad years, i thought 07 was worse? Because that was the year they got last at Great River.

GC: Plainfield
1ru Zionsville
2ru West side delegation
3ru Danville/lafayette jeff
4ru Laffayette jeff/danville

Vocals: Plainfield
Visual: Zionsville

Belles et Beaux sing so well i love them!!! I thin choreographically they are a little weak and that royalaires will barely get that caption.

LOVE B&B!!!

My predictions:

GC: Cedar Rapids Jefferson "West Side Delegation"
1RU: Danville/ Plainfield
2RU: Danville/ Plainfield
3RU: Lafayette Jefferson
4RU: Zionsville

I think we could give Danville AND Cedar rapids at least a run for their money... not saying anything definate, but the way we've been working, I think it'll be a close call.

I know zionsville hasnt been the best the past couple of years but they are def better this year. I would not be surprised to see them place MUCH higher than 4RU. They have a new director, Aaron Coates, and were just 2RU at LC beating Marysville, Pike, and Warren Central

sorry. i honestly haven't seen a zionsville show since 2004, so i was just going off of vibes mostly. i've only seen WSD this year, but they've come here before with crappy shows and almost won, and this year they have a GREAT one, I think they'll do well here.

I agree! both mixed and their girls group have really good shows this year.
But I haven't seen any of the other groups' shows this year, so I can't say how I think things will turn out.

side note: I LOVE belles and beaux!

thank you! we love lc too, and we are bummed that we don't get to see you guys this year. :<

This is the only groups that are coming to Mic this year..... Probably cause everyone going to FairField witch is the same day?

MIC was a bit of a smaller contest last season as well. The three finalists from last year (Center Grove, Lawrence Central, and Ben Davis) all have different contests on their schedule for 2010. LC and CG at Fairfield and Ben Davis at Shelbyville.
