Wow although i only got to see finals. I do want to say that props goes out to Buckeye Valley you guys were great for the amount of people that you had. I loved your ballad as well. And Congrats to Colerain. Best Choreo and Vocals, and Pit And crew i think something else too. great job.
this was the first time that buckeye valley made it to finals.... and we took 4th place!!!!!! thats crazy, i lost my mind when i found out that we went up 2 spots!!!!!!!!
Congratulations to all the groups today - I attended from when Lebanon performed all the way to final awards. It was probably the best competition I have ever been to in terms of sportsmanship.
Colerain - You guys were on fire all day. You deserved to win, I really can't imagine you guys performing much better. You have probably maxed out your show already, excellent work. Keep going!
Hamilton - What an enormous step in the right direction you guys have taken this year. You can really tell that you enjoy your show. You still have room to improve and I look forward to seeing you all again.
Edgewood - My old school and friends - it's odd to look up on the stage and actually watch the show for a change. I have to admit I was frightened at first, but even after losing nearly 30 people from last year, you guys continue to thrive. The show is amazing and dynamics are good. Very entertaining. Keep working on choreo and when you guys get loud, REALLY GET LOUD! You should feel the auditorium reverb with your vocal power. It's very easy to listen to your show as is and be impressed but, it's also easy to tell that you are being timid. Let the monster come out play.
Buckeye Valley - I have never seen or heard of your group before, but it was very nice to see a small sized group bring such power vocally. The ballad was very beautiful. Just try to make sure you don't get worn out by the closing number, and be aware (men of the group) you can always make the guys number more energetic as well.
South Dearborn - Magic Carpet ride was maybe my favorite number of the night, just because I thought I would never ever hear it in show choir land. Also it was nice to see your group do well, I have never heard of you either. Good job and work on energetic choreo.
Middletown - It's nice to see you guys making finals more often. Your shows over the past few years have been improving, and it's good to see a school of your larger size starting to make its presence know. Keep on boogie'n!
