I'm very excited/nervous for this competition. Excited because it's been about 5 weeks since we competed and because I have the opprotunity to see some AMAZING groups. Nervous because, well, look at the lineup. But anyways, Saturday should hurry up and arrive.

Yeah wow... this should be a very very interesting competition.... Part of me is considering going now just for the sole fact that there are so many just top notch groups here. I mean TG, FDC, RIG, and Waukee have all proven themselves as solid groups so it should be a really intense competition.

I think after waukee's win this past weekend this is gonna be much more of an epic battle that anticipated...thats just me

This just moved up to/near the top of the "competition of the year" award. okay... we all know Fairfield will that award, but the top 3 is going to be intense to watch. I still think Totino will take this and Waukee might move up to 2nd and mitchell will go to 3rd. Mitchell is kind of a dark horse because they haven't competed since their first competition.

Are you underestimating the talent of OASC? Haha, just kidding Jacob.
My Predictions:
GC: Company of Singers
1RU: RIG
2RU: Friend de Coup
3RU: OASC
4RU: Connection
5RU: Waukee

Nonono lewlew!! Based on what has happened thus far and what I have heard and based on every one of the last three seasons that I can remember, there is absolutely no way that Waukee will be placing below connection or OASC, and I think OASC will not place higher than connection, and based on the beginning of FDC's season this year, they will place higher than RIC. lol. I will just post my predictions:
GC: Company
1RU: Mitchell
2RU:Waukee (RIG)
3RU: RIG (Waukee)
4RU: Connection
5RU: OASC (Harmonia Mundi)

Vocals: TG FO SHO!
Choreo: I don't really know. I think that both of the top two could snatch this.
Band: TG or connection!! Connection always has a FREAKING AWESOME band!

As far as the 2nd and 3rd RUs go, I think it will go Waukee then RIG, but I could see it going the other way around.

I could really see Heelan jumping up into finals. They had a great show last year, IMO.

I'm very excited for everyone to come! This is going to be one of the best competitions this year! TG and Mitchell will be head and head for Grand Champs. But who ever does win, I still will cheer for all the schools! see you in a couple weeks!

Predictions:

GC: TG/Mitchell (BC BV)
1RU: Mitchell/TG (BC BV)
2RU: Waukee/RIG
3RU: RIG/ Waukee
4RU: ??
5RU: ??

haven't seen enough of the other groups to make any kind of predictions. Obviously, being a Mitchell Alumnus makes me biased towards them, but I know how good TG is. I remember when we beat them my senior year we were soo surprised. So it should be an interesting competition. This is also how I'm hoping things go, sometimes these Minnesota Competitions are looking for something a little bit different then what Mitchell typically offers. However, Mitchell's show is in no way whatsoever typical.

PS. To who ever said best male soloist to mitchell, is awesome I love Levi (ballad soloist) and the other male soloist is my little brother so either way I'd be really happy if that happened.

Not true lol. It is gorgeous but 1) its not a waste and 2) it did not even cost close to a million bucks lol GOOOOD dahwk

Hey. So my mom has the newspaper article from when the school was built and it states that the bridge cost 1.2 million dollars. And it is kind of pointless. The could have simplified our school to not have the bridge and we would have been fine. lol.
BUT I do love the bridge. It is pretty. But don't sound so sure of yourself cause I am holding proof in my hands of how expensive that thing was.

As far as predictions, I agree with Jacob.

yah. The Hastings High School bridge is a GORGEOUS waste of over a million dollars.

I agree. We got to go to Hastings in 2004 and it really was VERY cool. We were freaking out. Also because our prep group went at like 7:00 AM so we were there SUPER early and the school was empty. But it's a beautiful HUGE school with a VERY nice auditorium and of course the crazy bridge.

p.s. any of you who believed there was a real river in the school needs to turn down their gullible-meter

I would have to say i like this the best, but I would switch Waukee and RIG around. Can't go wrong with Mike and Mike leading your group
