There is a volunteers meeting this Wednesday for the competition. I'll ask about tickets, etc. and post the answers that evening.

It is verrrrrry hard to go up against groups of 50+ when yours only has 37. I wish we were in Tier II

Here's the schedule for SoCal: http://www.showchoir.com/events/event.php?id=311, and you can clearly see the two tiers.

Edit: Apparently Matt edited his post, and Hart is now in Tier II.

yeah, sorry i never updated my post as of yet.

They should have been Tier 1 all year...they are one of the top show choir programs in the state. Didn't they just win Fame NY?

Yes, but there are 37 of us. It's hard to compete with choirs of 45-65 people. It's really our directors choice. SV used to be a bigger group, with 44 or 48 people, but our school size shrunk, and our choir just lost kids to chose from frankly. Moving up to AAA would be nice, because we could finally compete with the B's, and Carlsbad, and whoever else is up there. But it would be a huge challenge for us, definitely.
