I have seen the preview shows at WV and WWS and both of these groups have AMAZING shows this year...this competition is going to be an amazing showcase of talent and at this point it is anyones game.

I'm gonna throw out some guesses, but I really think the top three places and the captions could go any of the 54 possible ways that are physically possible (Assuming BG, WV, and WWS take the captions and top three*)

GC: WV
1RU: BG
2RU: WWS
3RU: Sullivan
4RU: Pekin
5RU: Manteno

BV: WV
BC: BG

I think I like these predictions.

Missouri's All District Band performance was moved from Jan 9th to Jan 16th. This is why Troy is not attending Mt Zion. There are several students involved in both band and show choir. Bummer.

Darn! I was looking forward to seeing them! Guess I'll have to wait til sully if they can go this year.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Pekin do well at any of their competitions. Their school has a history of strong choirs and one talented director now in her second year...stay tuned.

True that is the same with Waubonsie Valley. Won numerous Grammy awards before Soundcheck came into competition prominence. In 06 they placed 7th and Milton, and I believe made finals somewhere else? The next year, their 2nd year of competing they were kicking all our butts!

People always have to remember, that yes, you and your choir maybe be working your butt off, and this might be your best year ever, but I'm sure EVERYONE group is working just as hard, if not harder.

Especially groups with big reputations to uphold.

But there's nothing wrong with being optimistic, and i give props to brockamper for having such faith in Pekin
I would personally love to see new choirs on top.
