Nobody is mad in any way, shape, or form. I think its just an expectation that everyone be humble and not make outlandish predictions that have no validity. You having pride in your choir and wanting them to perform to a high caliber is great. But when you make these predictions, it makes you look like your bias. I thought it was comical, I am not going to lie. I wish Pekin the best of luck. I believe we compete against you guys at least once, if not twice. I look forward to watching you guys and seeing just how good you guys are.

You do have a point and I've been know to go overboard. :p I also may have been bias and my point wasn't really to be but it looks like I was and I'm sorry about that. I'm glad you all got a laugh though! I can't wait to see this comp cuz I believe it's going to be very good.

Haha im just saying that pekin is going to be a big group this year. Yes I have heard of all these groups and yes I know that this probably won't happen but they're just predictions. No one will know what will happen until the day of the competition and who will win. But i don't quite think that pekin will be all the way at the bottom of finals at our competitions this year. Don't get mad just cuz I was over doing predictions, I just want people to watch us this year and see that pekin has really changed into a top caliber group. Sorry I made you all mad with these predictions, it was just my feeling of what the competition could be like. But I would really look for pekin to be one of those groups you didn't expect this year. So please just check us out and see how I feel about all of this. Haha just what happens when you want your group to be good and you know they can be that good.

i don't think anyone was really mad at you. i think we were all more laughing...

i think it's really good that you want groups to come see you. personally, my choir never had much of an other choir fan base. i remember at SCN 06 we watched happiness and cheered so loud for them. they came and watched us and barely smiled. no one really got to see us perform a lot, and didn't know much about our shows, and i always was sad by that. hopefully with this new "publicity" people will go see what you are about. hopefully you will wow us all.

There are times when you have to face the brutal reality of things. This is one of them. There is a huge difference between possibilities and realities.

This is what happens when Show Choirs that don't make finals don't stick around to find out why.

Sometimes I wonder if people have a clue...I've seen upsets but WOWZA!

One week they beat Waubonsie Valley, Wheaton-Warrenville, and Buffalo Grove.
THEN, they beat Center Grove, Eisenhower, and Sullivan...

If this happens, I may blow a gasket.

yah that's what he meant. i sorta want to take a trip to see this. its gonna be a fun one... though no offense to pekin. you will not beat WW, WV, or BG... but keep your spirits up!! energy can change results.

ok that's what I thought. So weird how after his finals he mixed everyone around...makes you wonder if he's even heard of wv wws or bg.....

wait this is confusing. Do you mean like prelims and finals when you say mixed then finals?

Oh this is realistic! You think you're going to beat 3 of the top 10 choirs in the nation!!!

You think this is bad, go look at the one he has for Danville. Of course they are going to beat Center Grove, Sullivan, and Eisenhower. Seriously?! Some people just amaze me.
