best band: onalaska
best vocals: onalaska
best choreography: onalaska

I actually am pretty sure Davenport North got BEST CHOREOGRAPHY.

MO SHOW WAS A BLAST!

YOU SCC PEOPLE FORGOT ABOUT THE MEETING!
The only schools that were "representin" were...
Davenport West
Linn Mar
CR Washington
CR Kennedy (thats right... GO GQ an JOSH!)

Its okay though... I saw tons of you guys throughout the day.

WOW! GO NORTH! I thought you guys would take it... and in my heart you did.

Onalaska- Awesome job... the only thing wrong was that you had no energy in the day round. Obviously it improved though! CONGRATS!

Linn Mar- You guys rocked! That opener solo is awesome! AND THE VOCALS ON VIENNA! HOLY MOLLY! I was really happy for you guys! Congrats!

Davenport North- You know my feelings... I was sitting second row for your finals performance (thanks to the weird North girl who told me to move... its okay... I was a better supporter than her)... YOU GUYS ROCKED!!!! YOUR ENERGY AND FACIALS WERE SO AWESOME! Choreography was clean and so were vocals. You topped Onalaska in my book. You guys rocked. I SCREAMED MY HEAD OFF FOR YOU GUYS! GO NORTH! D-PORT!

Davenport West- WOOGOO! We made finals. The flag broke in the day... but we fixed it at night! I am really happy with our 6th place finish! GO US!

Milton- You have a really fun show! GREAT JOB!

Davenport Central- YOU GUYS STEPPED IT UP! You beat us in day round snagging third. Awesome job... it was weird hearing your name heard 7th... but I am just so happy all the Davenports made finals! Mr. Riewerts was right!

Hastings- WOWOWOWOWOW! I love your show even more now! It is so great! I wish there was more facials... there is this one girl though who made me watch her the entire show (except for Josh's solo)... Alana had the best facials I had ever seen! GO ALANA! WOOGOO!

MO SHOW WAS A BLAST!

The only cool caption I know is Hastings, we got Most Original Staging. We also got Best Instrumentalist (well, Nate did) (not Best Band... oh the humour... I heart our band so much!)

Wow, this was such a great competition. I loved every minute of it (except the finals announcements )
Obviously, we were very disappointed not to make finals. We had by far our best performance of the year and we really thought we deserved to make it. But, if we did our best possible and there were still 7 better varsity groups, props to them because they must have done the same. Still, I can't help but feel that performing a unique and innovative show in Iowa, the state of "show choir in a box" didn't hurt us a little. It seems like the judges were very conservative and are not too eager to welcome new ideas. Again, congratulations to everyone, and especially to Momentum who ran an absolutely awesome competition. I loved the scones and cookies in our room, which our host's mom made for us. That is a great idea and an awesome mom.

Wow, what an amazing day! I had an awesome time!

Onalaska: I didn't get to see ya'll show, but congrats to Sara on yet another Best Female Soloist win

D-North: I mostly like ya'lls show, but the ballad confused me until I found out what it symbolized. But I just wanna say, you guys are awesome! Youre two soloists during the closer are AWESOME!

Linn-Mar: Your most amazing performance yet! Ya'll kicked butt out there ;)

Milton: You guys have kicked it up a notch since Fort! I personally don't particularly like your swimming number, but you guys do a really good job with it. Overall, you guys did awesome!

D-West: Wow total Davenport domination with all 3 groups in finals! I didn't see you guys, but I met some of you! Ya'll are awesome! Jorge, you rock my world

D-Central: I LOVE LOVE LOVE the jean jackets on the girls! You guys have improved so much and you really deserved your spot in finals! Congrats!

Hastings: Wow, I really liked you guys! Your fiddler is awesome! Awesome job to you

Overall, I thought this was a REALLY hard finals decision! All groups stepped it up a notch during finals, which is hard to do after a long tiring day. Awesome job to everyone!

Ping pong Matrix totally rocked and I was so glad that I got to see a few new shows. This conpetition was a blast and congrats to Onlaska even though I only saw parts of your show on TV. The low/high thing is a little confusing. " border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

I just got home from our 5 hour busride. I feel like a chocolate covered pretzel. Me being the pretzel and the chocolate covering being the caked on layers of sweat, hairspray, and sleepiness. If that makes sense.

Okay, this was probably the funnest comp I've been to all year, and a great one to end my show choir career on! Thanks a bunch to the Momentum crew for putting on such a great event! One qualm: where were the walking taco's !?!?!?!

I did the stupid human trick thing!!! It was too fun, I played guitar and sang, another guy played the electric kazoo, and another guy did contortionist interpretive dance to out own rendition of "hit me baby one more time." We weren't stupid enough to make finals, but It was still a whoot ;)

I AM SOOOO THANKFUL WE MADE FINALS!!! I AM SOOOO SURPRISED AT HOW THE RESULTS TURNED OUT!!! Well, surprised just because everything was flipped from the dayround. Man, if they didn't allow 8 choirs then I don't think we would've made it into finals!!!

A shoutout to the cool D-port West ladies I met b4 finals awards!

Thanks to our hosts!

Congratulations to all the choirs!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!

Oh P.S.... In a totally heterosexual way: David Tahere is HOT! Again, I repeat, In a totally heterosexual way!

Yeah, Mo-Show definitely rocked. That is seriously the funnest competition I have ever been to. If we don't go back next year, I'm going to be SO SAD!

But at least my season is complete now. I heard both the best soloists today, so I feel like I'm not a complete show choir failure ;)
