2nd RU - Colerain
3rd RU - Columbia City
4th RU - Southwestern
Southwestern has really improved this season and they are really starting to come to life. They have made finals the past three weekends in a row. (3rd RU at Princeton, 2nd RU at Grove City and 2nd RU at St. Clairsville) And this was at competitions with 14 - 16 show choirs. Their choreography scores are skyrocketing and so are their show concept scores. I think going on early in the day at TC will be to their advantage. Their show is going to knock the socks off of the judges! Everyone in the afternoon will be compared to Center Grove and Carroll. Could be trouble for some show choirs that do not have the same type of show.

yes i saw the right sheets, yes they beat us in choreo, yes they beat us in show concept, but no, they didn't beat us in vocals, and no, they didn't beat us overall, since vocals count for more than 50%. Jeesh.

Center Grove would definatly take this entire competition if they go... Doesnt anyone from their group post so we can ask them and see what the true story is? Im just going to assume they are going, if I was them why wouldnt I want to add another GC trophey to my collection. I do think it would be cool tho if they went to North Central instead. Not because my group will get a bigger trophey without Center Grove, but just because I really havent seen a choir this year who can beat these kids, and if anyone in the country can do it, its the groups at North Central, like Attache and Hunninton North. BUT if they dont go to Triton Central, it'd be a real battle for the GC! Carrol is definatly the favorite to win, but columbia city, colerain, and Bishop Luers are definatly in posisition to sneak in and win it!
I saw score sheets too. It was realatively close . . . there's gonna be a lot of competition this weekend! Are their 5 or 6 show choirs that go to the finals?

I think Bishop Luers has a pretty good chance getting into finals but you cant forget about southwestern they have gotten A LOT better since you saw them last. i know you beat them last time but they beat you they time before that. Southwestern has done very good in the last couple competions they have gotten 2,3,4 pretty much all year. So i really think it is going to be close. But in the end i think Esprit is going to beat them.

actually, Esprit didn't beat us at Norwell, just in the choreo section, i saw the score sheets. It was really close though.
Are you sure you saw the right score sheets because i saw them too and as i now for a fact hey beat you in Choreo and show concept so if they beat you in two of the three cat. then that prob. mean they beat you right.
I think people are REEEEALLY underestimating the power of the colerain kids! lol...When they were @ Marysville, they didnt do too well in the day show, but man did they step it up in the night show! Their vocals are amazing, and their choreography is cleaner than anyones i've seen all year i think! So i definitely have them in the number 2 spot! GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE CHOIRS! ESP COLUMBIA CITY AND COLERAIN!
wow, thank you so much for saying that, obviously the judges at marysville thought differently, best vocals and 2nd place going into finals, we came out in 4th, you guys were awesome there too, i didnt see it live, but on the video, your show is really unique, i mean the way it flows and stuff, i like it, good luck!

if any Carroll people have bad talked any choir(s). i apologize for them. we are very frusterated from not doing as well as we'd like. this year is nothing compared to last year. winning at huntington north felt great and again a apologize for the rudeness
As much as I hate to ask: does it sound as if Carroll people have gotten angry. When I was in show choir last year, I absolutly loved carroll and although I haven't seen them this year...I highly doubt the carla enjoys her students going crazy mad on other choirs

They said that if they won Showstoppers NY then there was a chance that they MIGHT not go...they sweeped the whole competition.....sooo I dont know

I also think that Colerain will do a lot better than what people are predicting, as much as I hate to say it. I have a huge fan base in Show Cards, everyone loves me there (sarcasm).
