From what I was told Nitro won Band, Set, Costumes, and were Class B champs and were in second by 1 point. Looks like it'll be a close one.

The only prelim award I know for sure is that Erin Handley from Winfield won Best Female Soloist. I have no idea what she sang because I wasn't there & I don't know anyone's songs, but I do know that she won.

Nitro, Garfield Heights, Winfield, Huntington ARTS, Capital, and Cabell Midland. Apparently Nitro took a good bit of the prelim awards, so that may give us some indication on what the results will be.

yes the invitational is still a go from my understanding the attending schools are

Cabell Midland
Garfield Heights
Nitro
Capital
Winfield
Riverside
Herbert Hoover
and there are 3 middle schools competing....I might be missing one high school
