I wouldn't put Capital in front of Nitro OR Martinsburg.

I guess we shall see Tyler. I have no Idea what they are like...other than Swing Sing, which was pretty kick ass. I hope they make it. But along with some of the other posts....I don't think that St. C will make it....But we shall see, they have Antwon now...so who knows... :o HAHAHAHA.

I see that now, but I think this competition will be a complete shake up. But then again, awards can go crazy; with very unexpected results.

Martinsburg rarely competes with Ohio schools or WV schools this early on, so it will be very interesting to see how they line up. Secondly, no one has seen Capital's complete show, so it's hard to say if they would have a definite finals spot, either. Normally they are amongst the stronger groups that perfrom at Poca MusicFest, but like I said, I haven't seen them to make any judgements.

I know people on this form are going to think I'm "tooting" Nitro's horn, but, the blantant crazy finals list at Findlay proved to the show choir world nothing for Nitro. In the day time, they scored 2nd overall in choreography, best combo, 5th overall in show design, but didn't make finals? Also groups like Medina and Beavercreek went home after prelims as well. It is irritating when people on showchoir.com automatically put schools ahead of choirs like; Nitro, Martinsburg, Cabell Midland, Capital, and all those other schools that are very talented but get over looked because they don't acquire that ever so needed "powerhouse" name beside them on the scoresheet.

Now with that being said, I think the finalists will be, (in no order, what-so-ever):

Piqua, Teays Valley, Marysville, Nitro, Garfield Heights, Martinsburg.

I think the first three are shoe-ins because I've seen their show's live this season and they all have solid shows. The last 3 spots will be tough, but we shall see. In no way am I saying the other schools SHOULD make it, it just comes down to performance and what the judges like on that day.

I wish the best of luck to my Showcats because they have truly worked very hard in the past month, along with thesetbacks in completing the show on time. Also, best of luck to every choir competing this saturday and please, don't let my opinions reflect on Nitro as the choir or anyone from Nitro. I am very bluntly honest and unbiased when it comes to show choir, promise.

PS - I'm asking for NO drama on this statement so if you have a problem, please keep it to yourself. This website is not a place for that, but everyone has an opinion.

Don't worry about it. I take no offense to your statement. Nitro has been on a steady incline the past couple of years and they definitely have a great shot at making finals. Good luck to all participating groups, it should be a very exciting competition!!!

Tyler, I don't think they were ranking them, they were just listing who they thought would make finals.

Colerains unfortunately cannot attend due to a special event regarding several members of the group. However they are still extremely excited to compete against a lot of the groups that are attending at different competitions. Thanks.

Prediction:
GC- Piqua
1RU- Colerain
2RU- Marysville
3RU- Teays Valley
4RU- Cabbell Midland
5RU- Garfield Heights

This may sound crazy but after seeing some of these groups already this year, and seeing some of the results from this year, this is what I predict.

I'll go out on a limb and make predictions

GC: Marysville
1RU: Piqua
2RU: Teays Valley
3RU: Garfield Heights
4RU: Colerain
5RU: Nitro

I think the top two will be very very close...Marysville was amazing this weekend at their competition, and I am always a HUGE fan of Piqua. Can't wait to see the results!!!

I think this is a good one.

Well, as far as him choreographing your show, it's public knowledge ;) check out the choir tab sometime lol. I've seen Gates's choreography and he's pretty awesome .
