Here is the Flip Vid of the Grand Champion ALA Evolution- sorry about the shaky hands, close range cheering- I tried to keep it to a minimum but somehow right after sound check the mics got shut off in the morning and it didn't happen this time. Rick Lunt is back with these guys- cannot wait until next year- they can only get better!
ALA Evolution Part I
ALA Evolution Part II

Part II starts with the ballad- OMG! Beautiful!!!! Chad Alexander blocked it- your interpretation was amazing! Thank you!!

Nancy Bocek is a great woman. She was my choreographer at SCA. Caring, smart, amazing choreographer, and funny. Should be a great weekend. Good luck New Mexico!

Non competitive. It is being held at Eldorado's new Performing Arts Center, but there is no one group that is hosting.

I think what he was saying is that there is a new invitational we have not previously heard about this week, and that was the schedule for that.
(Yes, that was about as gramatically clear as the dark clouds over Orlando today).
Is this the non-competitive one I had heard about?
And who is it hosted by anyway?

Back to adjudicators- I don't think anyone goes out to find adjudicators who are affiliated with certain groups. I have a feeling that because the Duke City Chorus is not associated with show choir in any other way than hosting this event yearly they might just ask the people who they think know the most about show choir- and go with whatever that direction is. It would be great if they realized that there are so many great resources out there these days that they could seek guidance outside of the Albuquerque show choir community to get these answers. There- that's my piece.
