You know, I thought Lawrence Central would have placed higher; I really enjoyed their show. But the Top 3 was about what I thought...anyway CONGRATS to ALL OF YOU! I loved your shows!!

That was the most ridiculous awards intro I've ever seen.

Hilarious.

Fairfield's show rocks. I love "Hoodoo Voodoo Doll", "Black Magic Woman", and their closer as well.

Also, they have a banging combo. It just simply rocks.

this might sound weird, but fairfield's hair fascinates me. it like the kind of high fashion hairstyle that's techno-club wearable, with a lower poof of course.

We were shocked, but there was some unbeliveable show choirs down there. If you weren't there you missed out. Good luck to all who are in finals.

You all were amazing! Don't let today take away from what you all have done this year!

i completely agree. It's so intense! there could be a little competition for 3rd though.

..btw, that high squealing solo in LC's closer is my little sister. =>
i'm so proud of her.

How many straight years will there be a member of your family in Central Sound? 7 or 8?

Very impressive!

Honestly I think the top three are a toss up and the bottom three is a toss up. It's like two competitions going on at the same time almost. No offense to the bottom three groups but The top three are just so...up there.

FWIW, I heard that the top 4 after finals was:

Clinton
John Burroughs
Center Grove
Marysville

And also (and again, I have not seen scoring sheets, but the word I'm getting from those that do have access), that Clinton and JB were separated by 1.5 points...

Haha, don't shoot the messenger.

Hmmmm I find the point spread odd considering Burroughs was in 3rd after day round in 3 out of 4 categories and was only in 2nd in show.

Such an intense competition.
Usually I don't make predictions but I'm gonna go out on a limb here after seeing each of the groups.

GC: Clinton "Attache" BC
1RU: Center Grove "Sound System" BV
2RU: John Burroughs "Powerhouse"
3RU: Eisenhower "Elite Energy"
4RU: Lawrence Central "Central Sound"
5RU: Marysville "Swingers Unlimited"

watching Marysville again, and think Colrain and Piqua were definately better. I would have put both of them in front of Lawrence Central as well. In any case, congrats to the finalists.
