well it's not like they actually told results. i've been to competitions where they told the top 4 or 5 groups. we all figured Clinton and Burroughs would be top 2 so no big surprise.

i think the biggest stories are previously-undefeated Piqua not making finals, and Marysville making finals. I'm pretty sure Piqua has beaten M-ville this year. Time slots probably had a LOT to do with that. would you rather perform at 11 or 4:30?

jonestly probably 11 but with these groups 4:30. But EEE was a mess vocally i did think marysville would make finals thats for sure and piqua too. I though piqua had a solid show. And your right we (indiana) do have placements but its not announced to the audience. i thin being an audience member its fun not really knowing but just having ideas. Our director told us placements sometimes depending on how she/we felt about our show if it would help us to know she' tell if it would help us not to know she wouldn.t.

your also right we did expect clinton and burroughs to be top two (i even predicted/had them in first) but the reason we make predictions is because its fun and knowing part of the placements makes it not as fun. but then again it makes you root for the other choirs to upset them. who know. im just ready for finals and wonder how close the scores were.

Same here, I though both Piqua and Colerain should have made finals before Marysville... but thats what the last time slot gets you.

oh, I know. Piqua was so good. and Zionsville beat Marysville last week.

judges are so strange. and one week can change so much in a performance.

the time difference is why they had to add finals to issma, but they only have 3 so it's still silly.

Eisenhower???? im sorry but colerain was SOOOOO much better!!

an i did not like the giving of placements for large mixed.....can someone explain??? its not somethin done in Indiana (i personally like not knowing who's where)

YAY central sound!!!!! i was sooo nervous more nervous than when i was actually competing i definitely screamed and ran thru my house lol

Actually at all Indy contests, they do have placements, they just don't announce them. In indy, after prelims, the directors of the groups get the placements and scores in their packets...it's up to them to decide to share that info. Here they just say who wins the day time. Had they said it or not, the directors at least would have known who was in first and who was in second.
