I more closely agree with these predictions. From videos I've seen I like Burroughs AND Clinton this year but I personally think Clinton will take it. From what I've heard, Clinton this year is Clinton 2009 and some. I think your predictions are gonna have a run for their money...heck I think everyones predictions are gonna have a run for their money lol
Agreed, Never in my life will I say Clinton is abad group, They are like pros at this, but so is burroughs, and burroughs show is better set and twist your mind much much more. It makes you wanna look at everything different. Compared to Clinton, Burroughs will take them. No Offence to Clinton. But This isn't your year. vYou will be top 3 for sure I will say, fighting for second, but I'mma put Burroughs in 1st by say 7 points. I believe that to be reasonable. Burroughs vocals are far beyond Clinton in my hears. and There visual standards are high, their choreography will not reach with April James Choreo, but I will come close will the theatrical type stuff they do. They will come out on top. My final prediction.

I honestly didn't like Clinton's vocals last year. I like them this year from what I've seen on youtube. Comparing them and Burroughs on youtube I give the edge to Clinton. Burroughs just seems like they might be too far out of left field for Midwest judging

disagree, Powerhouse is to much of a Powerhouse for Clinton to beat, and Center Grove will vocally blow Clinton out give CG to Burroughs and 1ru to Center Grove. Burroughs unique show combined with their spectacular vocals and choreo will wn them GC, and I am actually going to make a new prediciton on captions, I will change Vocals and Choreo, Vocals will be Burroughs because of there acapella, and choreo will be between Center Grove and Clinton, and I will let Clinton fight for Second, but Burroughs will win GC
At every competition they go to Clinton has a very good shot at winning. They can't be counted out. As much as I would love for a fellow Andy Haines group to beat a power like Clinton, I think Attache will finish in 2nd or 1st
I disagree to that, I will say they are spectacualr, but they will not win this weekend. They had trouble at Homewood. and This isn't there year, if any year was there year, it would have been 2009, but not this year.

The only reason I asked was because I've heard some pretty incredible things about Clinton this year. I haven't seen them live yet this year so I could be wrong. I'm just going off rumors and past success is why I question not having them in top 2 or at least top 3. But again, I haven't seen them live...
Neither have I, but they have had trouble the past couple of years, and I don't believe this to be the year to rise. They are a competitor, no doubt, but at Fairfield, they are not a GC contender I believe, but that is my opinion, I am entitled to one. But They had trouble i believe at Homewood as I said.
I disagree. Clinton has won at Fairfield in the past and I think this could be the year that they reassert themselves as the top choir in the nation like they were a few years ago
A southern choir against a Northern groups and an outstanding California group. Clinton to be honest. Is not that impressive this year, true they have spectacualr high points, and by far one of the greeatest set pieaces I have ever seen, but These groups I have put ahead of them Have looked much better and will give a much better performance, especially Burroughs and Center Grove. I will say that Clinton will fight for 2ru with Piqua, but I believe the GC to Burroughs and a close second with Center Grove.

sorry for taking up your time, but i dislike when people make definitive judgement on a choir (any choir) based on one bad quality video. thats why im so excited to see the choirs from the other parts of the country live, because theres no way i can form an honest opinion of them from the snippets on youtube.

i just wanted to explain that video that i dislike so much haha.
none of this is meant to be aggressive or defensive, simply informative ;)
I'm wholeheartedly in agreement with you about exhibition shows - and your pop shows sounds so much more tiring than any exhibition show I've ever performed. I just want to clarify that in no way are my predictions meant to be "definitive", I have no idea what will happen, I'm only predicting for fun... A group of guys (nerds) from Xavier are all in a pool predicting finals results

My opinion can definitely changed and based on the Powerhouse from the past, I fully expect it to.

WOW WOW WOW WOW! So jealous that i dont get to go. Just curious i dont feel like looking through 20 pages to find the answer but how many finals slots? I know theres enough good groups to where they could have like 11 and still every final group be top notch

4 DAYS!!!!! This is gonna be the most awesome competition I've been to in a long time!!! I feel that even if Stephen Todd did choreograph for Clinton recently that he will still be doing his judging fair. If he doesn't oh well that's his choice. I think it's just gonna be awesome to watch all these spectacular groups!!! I think someone should act like they are doing sports coverage on the different show choirs. Start bringing up statistics and stuff that'd be really entertaining at least to me lol.

Just weighing in... I think if every time a choreographer or director stopped working with a group, everyone had to wait 3 or 4 years for them to not be associated anymore and therefore not be able to judge that group for that period of time, there wouldn't be very many people able to judge competitions. These people are professionals in their field, and I think should be expected to judge every group and every competition in such a manner.. professionally. They're all adults and no matter if they worked with a group last season or 6 seasons ago, they can put biases aside and judge what they see on the stage. Just my thoughts!
