Would it really be an upset for what is probably the best group in Indiana to win? I mean, I know it's CLINTON and JOHN BURROUGHS, but Center Grove is no slouch and has had some pretty impressive win streaks of their own.

I guess I just don't think it would be surprising if one of the best groups in the country beat some of the other best groups in the country.

I wouldn't call it that big of an upset. You just never know what is going to happen year to year. Hart beat Clinton a few years ago, people saw that as a huge upset. I think that competitions like this, reputation can get thrown out the window. It is going to be an amazing day!

And by the way...When was the last time Center Grove competed against Clinton or John Burroughs?

I wish I could come down and watch this competition. The Titans of Show Choir will definitely be clashing this weekend.

I think it would be awesome to see a group like Center Grove jump up and win this one. I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of "upset"

Stephen Todd didn't choreograph for Clinton this year.

Stephen Todd and Clinton? If so I wouldn't consider that an elephant. This is one of the greatest judging panels that I have seen. Props to Mr. Clark.

I would specify the "elephant" so we could have a good, healthy discussion about it.

I would also associate myself with a choir.

The judging panel has been updated in the events section above as follows:

Solo Competition:
Pamela Leitzinger
Melissa Stainbrook

Middle School / Womens Division:
Kevin Butler
Myra Crosby
Ryan Heinrich

Best Performer Judge: Eric Noll

Tier I / Tier II Prelims:
Lynn Knoble
Eric Van Cleave
Jennifer Gulsvig
Stephen Todd

Best Performer Judge: Ben Hartwig
Critique Judges: Marty DeMott, Randy Sage

Finals:
Lynn Knoble
Eric Van Cleave
Jennifer Gulsvig
Stephen Todd
Melissa Stainbrook

so is anyone going to mention that giant elephant in the corner or are we all gonna pretend we don't know anything? just curious...

It could happen, Center Grove has won every competition this year by 20 to 30 points so they may compete with Clinton, John Burrough's or Piqua this year.

It's going to be a great day watching all these wonderful groups, so the real winners for the day will be the audience members.

Good luck to all and I'm looking forward to watching your shows.

I haven't decided whether to come to daytime or finals.

Someone convince me either way.

Do you REALLY need any reason other than Piqua, Colerain, Lawrence Central, Center Grove, John Burroughs Clinton, Marysville, Eisenhower, etc? Not ALL of them are gonna be in finals, ya know

I have a feeling this information is buried in this topic somewhere... but I'm too lazy to search through 19 pages to find it Plus, I'm sure I'm not the only who wants to know, so: Does anyone know what company will be filming this competition? Since my group will be in competition at Carroll on Saturday, we won't be able to attend... and I would love to have the finals on DVD to enjoy later! Can anyone help us out with this info? Thanks!
