I honestly don't mind how the results pan out... this is simply going to be an awesome competition, and a great learning experience for everyone.

That's my two cents.

I'm not entire sure about that because the only Judges FROM Ohio are Lynn Knoble & Ryan Heinrich.

I guess I will give this one a shot...

GC: Clinton "Attache"
1RU: John Burroughs "Powerhouse"
2RU: Piqua "The Company"
3RU: Center Grove "Sound System"
4RU: Marysville "Swingers Unlimited"
5RU: Eisenhower "Elite Energy"

Best Vocals: Clinton "Attache"
Best Choreography: John Burroughs "Powerhouse"
Best Band: Clinton "Attache"

Here are my thoughts:

Every competition I have gone to in Ohio, whether to watch or to compete, other Ohio groups do a little bit better than if they are out of the state. In that same note, groups from outside Ohio tend to not place as well. Obviously, you aren't going to deny John Burroughs and Clinton the top two spots. BUT, I think that Piqua and Marysville will place better than if this were held in Indiana or Illinois. Now please understand that I am not saying that they aren't worthy of those placements...THEY ARE! But performing in their home state, in my opinion, gives them a leg up on their other competitors. If this were held in Indiana, advantage to Center Grove and Lawrence Central. If this were held in Illinois, advantage Eisenhower. I have always said that states tend to protect their own when hosting a competition that has groups from other states. Judges are more comfortable with that style and they tend to score them higher.

I hope this doesn't offend anyone, it is just outside observation...I have been watching this stuff for eight years now. It might as well be my college thesis for show choir.

I agree...

with your first 5 choices.. I would probably put Marysville for 5RU though. AND I don't think Burroughs would get choreo over Clinton.

Are you using Internet Explorer? That is probably why it won't let you edit. I made the switch to Mozilla Firefox and it's so much better.
I'm gonna try my hand anyway Rian ;)

GC: Clinton "Attache"
1RU: John Burroughs "Powerhouse"
2RU: Lawrence Central "Central Sound"
3RU: Center Grove "CG Sound System"
4RU: Eisenhower "Elite Energy"
5RU: Marysville "Swingers Unlimited"

Do disrespect to anyone intended at all. I realize that this might offend people, but it's hard to predict the outcomes of competitions that are stacked like this one. That should just give more incentive to prove me wrong ;) Anyway, good luck to ALL groups at Fairfield. I can't wait to go up (if the snow holds off).
