West Jefferson has only had a show choir for 5 or 6 years now and we are smaller (18 performers, only 6 men). Even though we didn't do so well (Teays was our first and only competition), I believe it was our best perforance this year yet.

I want to congratulate all of the choirs that performed. It was a great day over all! I have always enjoyed watching the finals performances and was gald I stayed for them. Hope to see you all next year and that you have a great rest of the year, though there isn't much left.

I really like the way this competition is set up! It was recommended to me that I bring my group to this one next year, and I think I will definitely look into it.

You should. I have an in

First, thanks so much!! we really gave it our all, and just had so much fun! You guys were amazing as always too! :D
second, the inchworm thing was hilarious, were you the one who did it at findlay too? because the fact that this has happened before made it funnier!!!
and third, yes about the pictures, you can find them at

THe site says that they will not be up until Monday night (approxamately) but they will be there for ya!

It wasn't me that did it at Findlay, but that's where I got the idea. I give that guy credit, who ever it was. And thanks for the website. And if you're using Internet Explorer, that's probably the reason it wouldn't let you edit your post. Try switching to Mozilla Firefox.

Congrats to Twinsburg on the win and everyone else too. Especially Medina. You guys improved SOOOO much since I saw you at your competition and I love your show. I had so much fun at this competition. (I was the inch worm guy before final awards!) Does anyone know where I can find the pictures for this competition?

Solon kids, I wanted to commend you on your level of class you displayed at the competition this past weekend! Also, Who's the original artist of your ballad? Congratulations goes out to GE!

thank you so much! our director would be really happy to hear that.
our ballad is called "Something to Believe In" by Van Hunt, Jon McLaughlin and Jason Mraz. Randy Jackson had something to do with it too...

I just want to thank everyone involved in the Teays Valley Classic from the our host to people in the hall and to the AWESOME back stage guys. This was my son's last competition after seven years in show choir and we are losing 18 seniors altogether so it was a very tough day for me. Everyone involved made a very emotional day for me a very stress-free day. Thanks again!!

Nitro-very entertaining show. Using Metallica for show choir was definitely risky but it worked well with you guys. Uh I really like your ballad. I really like that song and whenever I hear a group is doing that I have to see it. The soloist was great and the number as a whole was just super super good!! The whole pajama themed half was very entertaining and I like the pillow fight(thriller) song. Just so goofy but awesome. Congrats on an awesome season!!

Thanks for all of the wonderful comments!! We were very happy to make finals with very talented groups!

I have 5 years but will definitely be 28 next year. I'll keep my eye on this competition. It looks like a great one! Glad Midlo had a good weekend, and I will get to see them again this Saturday. Their director is really nice.

If I'm not mistaken, Festival Division is reserved for less than four years of competition or less than 28 singer/dancers.

Sweet! I have 34 students this year, but will only be taking 28 next year. Do you think I would be able to do the festival category?

Thank you so much! That means a lot to us. We had a great time this weekend. Our ballad is originated by Jason Mraz, John Mclaughlin and Von Hunt.
