Hey guys just forget about  what -abachniv- said and will most likely further say. Ok- just ignore it. Who cares what they say, it's their opinion and that's all it is and that's all it's worth. So just ignore it.  It only means what you make it worth.

ok

ummmm...youre dumb

All conflicts are cleared up. No hard feelings, it was just a misunderstanding, so everyone forget about it!

I won't!

To Rebekah- I merely misunderstood what your definition of what lucky was. I apologize, and understand where you are coming from. A note on the judging thing- we hear results from the judges after every competition and their remarks are consistent. I don't feel that choirs get screwed that often. What it really depends on is the luck of the type of judges you get, meaning whether they are qualified or not. However, when our group attended Nationals last year in Tennesse, every judge had us ranked first or second after prelims except for Wanda who thought our girls number and costumes were to risque (wish she could see our closing out fits this year!), and ranked us tenth knocking us out of finals. So, I do understand where you are coming from, it was just a misundertanding of how you defined luck. Please don't address me as Mr. President, it sounds as if you are mocking me, which might just be another misunderstanding since you can't type with a certain tone. My name is nipnip04 or nipnip for short. anam713 does not represent the Central Sound or any of our opinions, she represents Sweet Sensations and herself. Most of us don't even talk to her and she isn't in our class period. I did not mean for it to sound as if I think we practice more than other choirs because I know of many groups who are more active than us. I just meant to point out the fact that we have worked really hard, as I am sure every choir has been, but mainly this discrepancy just dealt with the misunderstanding of "lucky". I don't expect the bickering to stop, I just wish that it would tone down a bit. The main point I was trying to get across with the last post was that Central Sound does not "rip" other choirs. We take where we place with dignity and congratulate everyone else, no matter if we won or not. We are not a bitter group of people and we only want the show choir season to be a positive experience. Once again I apologize for any misunderstandings and hope that this clears things up.

Well what a way to start my homework? Ha Is it just me or am I not reading something from Rebekah that everyone else is? I dont think she is trying to cut down LC or anyone else. And I am not reading that she knows more than anyone else. She has brought up some good points some that I had not thought of. And warped is a bad way to describe her especially unless I am reading her wrong she said some pretty nice things about LC any other opionions.

Sigh...

Children, children, please!

EVERYONE WORKS HARD!

EVERYONE DOES THEIR BEST!

EVERYONE GETS SCREWED/FAIRLY TREATED!

EVERYONE IS OVER/UNDERRATED!

And last but not least, it's just show choir. Don't make it to be something it's not, which is what you kids are doing. Sorry I had to yell...

Ok, ninja time! " border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" /> " border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />

P.S.

Dear Mr. Whiskers,

I miss you, please come home.

All I have to say is that you don't know how we work, how long we work, or anything else...so please don't talk about things that you have no idea about. I am not saying that we work harder than other choirs, because there are many great choirs out there that work very hard and even practice during the summer. I just don't understand where you are getting your "knowledge" from to say that everything is just luck, because it isn't. Granted some people get ripped off or what ever you want to call it, but don't put the other choirs down, because of the judges choices. But anyways, have fun everyone!!! Good luck to all of the choirs performing this weekend!

To Rebekah: You have some warped attitudes not only to our choir but to show choir period. We have every right to give a critique of the show. No one in CS has ever said anything that even hints at being "experts at judging show choirs." It just so happens that I did see thier show(mentioned earlier) and what I wrote is honestly what I thought. The fact that CS won GC at Ball State doesn't make my opinion of show any less important. In my previous post I made sure to include that I wasn't trying to be pompous or uppity b/c my group won. YOU need to recognize that no one in CS is trying to bring down another choir. BELIEVE ME, the people in CS will have opinions of a show whether or not we win. What we have said is not "ripping" other choirs it's merely our honest opinions. I'm sorry that what we think is not what you think. Our choir has endured a lot of the past season and year and were happy to just come out on top. If you don't like us expressing our happiness on SCC that's fine but, don't go posting about how your tired of seeing our supporters congratulate us.

Dear Mr President. Like I tried to get across You dont work any harder during your week than any other show choir so dont make it sound like you do. Yes I know that Ana is not from YOUR group, she is however from Lawrenced Central so she is representing YOUR group. I am not saying that she should not support her group or YOUR group. The bickering will never stop. Your not doing anything any different than any other show choir we all try to work hard improving our vocals and choreography. I do believe you have to have some luck and here is why. Now dont take this out of contents. When I say you I mean all of us. What happens if there are let's say 5 judges and 2 or 3 just dont like the style of your show. OOPS perfect performance in 2 of the minds and the others thought you sucked. Well Luck of the draw your obviously not going to come out on top. And dont tell me this doesn't happen it does. I think your thinking that I am saying your not on top of your game which I am not your show choir is very well deserving of your accomplishments this yr. But so many things enter into winning and loosing that sometimes GREAT choirs dont come out on top because of so many variables Even illnesses within groups have played havoc this year.
So anyway, Good (do I dare say the "L" word again?) Well how about Best Wishes or Keep UP the great job the rest of your season.

And thank you for sticking up for me, Jonathan! You know that I love you guys too!

Well I have to agree that Col. City was ripped off.  I just wonder how many post you would see on here from Lawrence Central "Ripping" other GREAT Choirs apart if you had not been as LUCKY to come out on top like you have this year.  I respect your accomplishments but you are not all of a sudden the experts at judging show choirs. And I am so tired of seeing anam713's picture everyother post  saying the same thing about how proud she is of Lawrence central.  Get over yourself.  Columbia City got ripped.  anam713 maybe you should skip high school and judge show choirs UM NOT!!!!!!

First of all, I only posted in here ONCE telling Central Sound that I was proud of them. And why wouldn't I be? Anyone else would be excited to see their friends do so well, especially after I've seen how hard they've worked. And second of all, have you read any of my posts to see that I was making negative comments towards ANY of the other groups that I seen. You most certainly have not. So the next time you decide to attack someone, please make sure that you have a valid reason to do so. Have a nice day!

well, i totally agree with u nipnip! I also wish that the bickering would cease and we could all just do what we love...singing and dancing!

Whether or not Col. City was ripped off, I cannot give a justified opinion because I did not see their show, nor any other group's. However, as president of The Central Sound I am positive that no matter where we place at our competitions all of our members will keep a positive and respectful attitude toward our peers. If we don't win, which we have become quite accustomed to, we congratulate the other choirs and maintain our dignity. Everyone of us knows that wherever we are, we are representing our choir, and behave so accordingly. We are members of this group because we love show choir, and not just ours, but all of them. We were not "LUCKY to have come out on top." We have spent hours upon hours practicing, even before school sometimes, cleaning our vocals and choreography. This is the first year, out of the four years that I have been in The Central Sound, that our group has had this much talent and dedication. We do not rely on luck; we rely on improving our show everytime we perform to the greatest of our abilty by taking our directors' and the judges' advice. You don't win best vocals and best choreography by LUCK! And on a side note anam713 is not a member of The Central Sound, she is a loyal supporter from our girls group The Sweet Sensations, and we appreciate her sincerity.
