CONGRATS CONGRATS CONGRATS to COMPANY so much!!!!!!!! you stepped it up in finals SO much (as if that was even possible) and you got what you deserved - the perfect finale to the perfect show choir season (literally!).

The competition was super-fun, albeit a little pricey and with very few eating options in the city. lol this was the most fun ive had in a LONG time!!!!

congrats especially to lawrence central! i didn't see your daytime performance but finals was SO MUCH FUN to watch!!!!! I knew you guys would do very well.

But back to company - ughhhhh i can't even begin to describe how i feel about you guys! I love you all so much- CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually just got a text from wes, and he told me that BFS went to Katie Hahn from Company of Singers and that BMS went to a guy from LC.

Can anyone confirm that?

I get it now. I guess I can see why they do it, to make it easier to look at. I guess 94.76 is easier to understand than 1184.5. But I still think they should just keep it the way it is.

Good grief! Its 11 o'clock....results!! LOL!
I'm dying here!

So when they average out the scores it changes them? I know it changes the number but it messes it up? This is confusing.
like if you look at my example lol u'll see that before the average the choirs were seperated by 30 points after it was 15...sooo an u can think of this like grades on tests if you get 85 85 85 27 (alll outta 100) that 27 will bring ur average down...get it?

No, I don't think you get it.

Typically, they average the scores down to 100. For example, if they score sheet is worth 250 points, and there are 5 judges that is 1250 points. So let's say group A received 1184.5 and group B received 1203.5. Their averages look like this:

Group A: 94.76
Group B: 96.28

It's not an average of vocals and choreography...basically it's just the percent of points they've earned.....
