It can't come out the way AmBass 007 predicts because the trophies have already been made with the respective winners names engraved on the little plaque. We found that it's nicer to have the names of the winners engraved, but it necessitates us picking the winners before the actual competition.
Tickets are basically gone. We may have a dozen left by the time the box office opens.
It was a blind draw. When there are only six groups in a division, there are only 720 possible draw orders available, so the odds are not tremendously against two particular schools going back to back. Some competitions, like Los Al, automatically put the groups that don't use risers first or last on the program, so they aren't even considered in the draw. We let the chips fall where they may and it was purely coincidental that the non-riser groups were at the end of the Intermediate Division.
We have less tha 25 tickets left, although we do have 4 private boxes that seat four (for $50) remaining.
aaaaaaaaw comeon! i really was hopin i'd get to see burroughs set again. i must say that whoever does the statues has real skill to be able to stay still for that long hahaha
