Well, I certainly am glad that this forum is buzzing so loudly two days before the competition... (pardon the sarcasm...) I am so excited, yet sad, for this competition.. So excited because it is coming fast and should turn out to be a great show, but sad because it is my last show choir competition :-( >>> See you all in Mitchell!!! Leaving tomorrow at 12:30!!!

i'm not from hastings, but i do have a schedule i can get a hold of with times. but i'm not sure if i will be able to post it tomorrow but by thursday i can give you the time unless someone from hastings would do that. i'm sure it would be a lot easier.

Weather??? I sure hope Mitchell isn't going to get all the snow that they have gotten on the western side of South Dakota? Could make for some interesting travel??? Someone from Mitchell have a weather forecast update?
It's supposed to be partly cloudy over the weekend in Mitchell.

do the hosts decorate the home rooms?? because we havent been able to take a sweet door cover/thing home yet this year and it would be AWESOME if we got to at our last competition of the season.... lol

I don't think Mitchell has ever had this many groups come from such far away places. I remember while being in show choir Parkview Pizazz would come every other year and that was the sooooo cool to know a group from that far away would come to a small town in South Dakota's competition.

I will definitely have to get a finals DVD of this one!

I remember only going my sophomore year of high school (2002) to Mitchell. I wish we would have gone again...I love the corn palace!

Our show from last year is up but its a director's cut from our invite early last February and the video quality isn't the best. We improved drastically from that show and this year, IMO, we are much much better.
