The more we talk about it, the less sure I am that I am even remembering last year and not another year. It's definitely all running together, now.

I do think those were the top groups, though.

If I remember correctly, Martinsburg was Grand Champion and James River came in first. You are right with Hanover in 2nd and Cosby in 3rd.

Good Luck to everyone this weekend!

Martinsburg was second last year, I thought? They did the number with the white gloves.

Does he judge very often? I don't recall ever seeing his name on any local panel since I've payed attention to show choir, but I would imagine he'd have a great eye.

Not sure, I thought he judged in 2006, but Shapiro would know this one, I have no idea... will find out tomorrow lol

Terrell, is that you? Thank you so much for the compliment!! I can't wait to see your show this weekend! I'm glad the timing works out that I will probably get to see it. I also want to see Poquoson, but they are right after us...so unfortunately I will miss that. I love to see all the show choirs, but especially the few and far between ones stuck down here on the Peninsula! We gotta stick together, you know.

How many people are in Harbor Lights this year? I heard you had A BUNCH!!!!!!!

Ryguy...you are such a show choir nerd, and that is one of the MANY reasons I love you.

Cosby Spotlight: I LOVE YOUR SHOW! You guys are so edgy and have such a great energy.

Hanover Sound FX: Of course I love your show. What's not to love? You have amazing vocals and amazing choreography. We'll be cheering for you.

Thomas Dale: You have been one of my favorite show choirs since I started bringing my show choir out to compete 5 years ago. I missed your show last week, but really hope to catch it this time around!!

Poquoson and Kecoughtan: my local buddies. I can't wait to see what you guys have been working on!!

To every show choir: I wish you the best performance possible. Everyone has worked their backsides off and deserves to deliver a show they can be proud of. No matter what the results are...enjoy making music with each other. Winning is fun, but we all know the real reason we do this. Remember that when you step on stage.

Good luck everyone!

"Break a leg" to everyone performing tomorrow! I hope to see some AWESOME shows, just like last week at the P-town/JR Classic. I can't wait to hear "The Song That Goes Like This" from Capital Swing again. Drink lots of water, singers!

Predictions- why not~?!

Note: I think performance time will play huge at Manchester this year.
reason 1 of 126 we need finals here

Single Sex Show Choirs
B
1-Atlee Serenade
2-Amherst
3-Kecoughtan

A
1-Clover Hill
2-Cosby
3-Atlee

Mixed Show Choirs
B
1-Menchville
2-Appomatox
3-Kecoughtan

A- here is where times will become an issue
1-Clover Hill
2-Colerain
3-Martinsburg- TOP 3/4 WILL BE VERY VERY CLOSE
4-Hanover
5-Thomas Dale/Cosby
6-Thomas Dale/Cosby/James River

Again i did top 6 as if there were finals. Amherst and Menchville would be the other toss ups for the last finals spot.

Good Luck to Everyone!

Nope, Chesterfield is out today and has a 2 hour delay tomorrow, I think. I'm not sure about Hanover Co.

Can't wait to go and watch this competition!
