I haven't seen LaCrosses show but imo after Petal its gonna be a toss up! If they are as good as you say then I hope I do see them in the Finals =D

They're a fantastic show choir.

They've competed against some top notch schools, and have a long history of a wonderful choral program.

For example-
In 2006, at Chicagoland, the results were:

GC- La Crosse Central (BV, BC)
1st RU- Totino Grace (BB)
2nd RU- Center Grove
3rd RU- Mundelein
4th RU- Mt. Prospect
5th RU- Fort Atkinson

They also have made finals at the Onalaska "Classic" 11 times... placed in the top three show choirs in finals 10 times, and have taken home the GC trophy 6 times.

Predictions:

5th runner up - Waconia
4th runner up - West Jones
3rd runner up - Petal
2nd runner up - Eisenhower
1st runner up - Marysville
Grand Champion - Waubonsie Valley

I'm not criticizing you or your thoughts... but I can't really see this competition without La Crosse Central in finals. They're definitely a group that will be in the top five for sure. Maybe you have not heard of them, seen their show, or may have just forgot.

Sadly... I no longer will be attending this competition. I just was offered an opportunity to go to Italy for a week that is way to good to pass up. I almost said "no thanks" due to this competition, but I know I will never get another chance to do something like this for a long time. So, I'll be thinking of everyone when my flight leaves from Chicago at 8:30 AM in the morning on the day of WW.

I believe that at one point you said that you've never been out of the country (Idk if you've been out since then). It's going to be a very memorable experience wherever you go, and I'm sure that it's going to be such a blast.

I wish I could go to this comp., but we will be competing at Cedar Rapids Jefferson that day. I know I'm excited for the opportunity though.

Wow, really? Thats a long bus ride. Well, not a whole lot further than the SCA bus ride I love West Jones kids!

Ha... Petal will actually have a longer bus ride than us... Only by about 25 minutes, but still...

I'm excited for this competition. It will be my last hgih school competition that I'll be able to perform in (sadly), and it will no doubt be the most challenging competition I will ever have been at.

Lots of good groups=lots of fun =D

Just saw the above list of groups coming to this competition. I am at a loss for words as to the quality of groups! How many groups make finals?
My guess, because almost every midwest competition follows this, is six groups make finals. And they had six last year, so yeah. Pretty confident it's six.
