Haha nah Drew, I wasn't really concerned about that...everyone has the right to say what they want. Was just hoping to get a little more insight into why everyone thinks West will place so highly (beating both Petal and SJ in some predictions). Not meaning to knock West Jones either; they/y'all have been improving every year since Mr. Mizell took over, and it's only a matter of time before Imagination is a true AA powerhouse!

I'm from Iowa. I have to be Anti-South ;) haha just joking. Really my predictions are blind. I don't know much about anyone except Petal and West Jones, and only because I have friends in those groups I met at SCA. So you could probably exclude my predictions.
Good news... At least for me and my group, that is... I crushed my middle finger moving equipment at South Jones last week... It broke the bone and messed up most of the tissue around the bone... I didn't think I would be able to perform, considering the extreme pain and the fact that my hand's natural position for a while was flipping everyone off... But I went to the doctor yesterday and found out that no surgery or pin is needed, and I'm good to go for tomorrow... I still can't make a complete fist, but it's good enough that I can participate... I'm still sore and wounded, but I'm looking forward to this weekend!

At least you spoke your mind, and did so without the intentions of tearing a group down just for the heck of it. Thanks for that..I encourage more of you do to so. We need more of that in our Southern Forum; constructive criticism toward all groups is certainly welcome here!
If anything can happen then some of the people who make finals wouldn't make it. The only reason people love some peoples show and they make finals is because of there name. So I doubt this will really happen unless we just screw up horribly Saturday!
Don't know who you're referring to, but all the groups I've seen in finals so far have pretty legit shows..

Both of you are right... Anything can happen, and you are entitled to your own opinion... However, I wouldn't count on your prediction coming true... But you never know... If I'm not mistaken, Tupelo women made Finals over Tupelo mixed at Petal last year, so you could be right...
