Haha im so excited about thiscompetition its going to be very competitive.. South Middle School performed about 10 minutes ago and now some other group is performing!
So much tension in the air. I was planning on leaving after the regular performances, but all this bickering makes me wanna stick around for the results at the end of the day to see who gets the bragging rights.

I think this is the first time I've seen you on the forums; you aren't one of the Westies I was referring to. Honestly, I agree with your finals prediction. (By the way, West's vocals are much improved this year over previous years, in my opinion. I was very impressed when I last saw you!)
However, I don't see how politics relate to South or West Jones. Both groups are good, but neither has a big enough reputation to mean anything politically, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not intending to be rude or arrogant; like I said, I mean no disrespect to "Imagination". Mr. Mizell has done a great job in his first few years at West, and will continue to help the program grow in the future. If it's any consolation to you, in my 9 years of watching Imagination, this is the best I've ever seen them perform. Proud to say they are from Jones County!
Believe it or not, I am unbiased in this. I don't pick South to place higher than West because of a personal connection with SJ (which is why I wish we could still choose "Unassociated" as our choir haha); I just think they're the better choir this year.
I don't think it's impossible that West tops South eventually, but it just isn't likely to happen this year, to be honest with you. There's no way that I can say that without it upsetting you, but history (as recent as last week) helps to back my statements up. If West does beat South this season, then I will stand publicly corrected.
And by the way, "choirman" is from Picayune, not South Jones. But I won't hold that against him.

Cody: I'm not offended that you think South is better than West. They did beat us two weeks ago, fair enough. I respect your opinion. I just get frustrated when you make a big deal about someone from West being optimistic about beating a group we've never beaten. If you'll notice, the scores in prelims two weeks ago were close. South may be better, but I don't think they are lightyears better.

Grand Champion clintion (OF COURSE)

Ok, all the West Jones people need to watch what they say because it could and has made our group look bad. As for Cody Mac and choirman, your posts were very classless and arrogant. You make it sound like the thought of West Jones ever beating Company is very farfetched, and it isn't. Your right, there is nothing wrong with a little confidence, but you two are being cocky about this. I know Mr. McKenzie wouldn't like these rude comments. Best of luck to Company. Imagination is definitely looking forward to competing this weekend.

I am not playing a "game." I may be a little biased but what I predicted is my opinion..... Besides, in my prediction I had company ahead of Imagination. I appologize that some of my group members come off as cocky. I honestly do hope that Imagination beats Company... I don't see that happening but of course I want it to.......

I don't know why West Jones thinks they can beat South Jones. West has a good show but South is better. I went to the PRCC Comp. and knew Petal and South would be close, but I knew West would be third or Fouth. The only way that West can beat South is if there vocals are perfect this weekend, because two weeks ago they sounded like a Jr. high choir. But I have to agree with Cody Mac because there is nothing wrong with having confidence.. Good luck West I hope you make finals!
Wow, seriously? How long are y'all gonna play this game? I mean no disrespect to West Jones at all but seriously? Last week a couple of you Westies were predicting that you could beat South AND Petal, and we saw how close that one wasn't.
Nothing wrong with confidence, but I'm not sure that's what this classifies as..
