Ohh!! Ethan! You are such a cool guy! Yah it really was alot of fun meeting cool new people from show choirs we haven't seen before. More when I wake up! LOL we just got back!

Hastings - LEMARS LOVES YOU. You guys are beyond amazing. We loved sitting there after you performed finals and just cheering back and fourth. And then I started the 'We Love Hastings' cheer, and it just kinda caught on. You guys have great class. A little crazy, but you gotta love that at show choir. Your show was AMAZING. The dance breaks of your first and second number are just wow. You have to sit there in awe. Your ballad was FANTASTIC. My jaw was dropped at the end. LITTERELY. Your closer was just wow. The Heeleys are awesome. Your whole show was fantastic. It was great to finally meet Marty! And of course Natalie and Axi and Ethan lol.
Westwood - You guys had your moments. I know the band was fantastic, but they drowned out the singers most of the time. Your costume change is very similar to Hastings. I love the long white sleeves under a tshirt. Its pretty awesome, to be honest. Your choreography was really good for the dance breaks. Your vocals sounded good in the ballad, but otherwise I couldn't hear them much because of the band.
I didn't get to see Hinton, Spirit Lake, or Sioux City East PREP.
It was great to be there, sitting in the audience when they were giving awards. It seemed every other school had gotten something but LeMars. Hinton, Westwood, Hastings all got some kind of captains lol. They announced Spirit Lake and SC East Prep and Hinton before giving tons of captains. When they announced Westwood as best band, my hopes for 1RU were killed. But when they announced Westwood as 2RU.. WE WENT CRAZY. And when they said 1RU LeMars.. I cried. This was our first competition this year. We've given it our all so far. We've come through a lot as a group to make it to where we are. We stepped up so much in finals, it was crazy. This is the best LeMars had done anywhere since GC at Emmetsburg in 2003. We were ecstatic. And to know that the only group to score higher was this amazing, super nice, Hastings group. It made everything just.. good. I'm so happy tonight
