Yeah, I'm an Expression, and I unfortunately wasn't able to compete this week due to a Speech competition. How much does that suck? For the first time in my show choir career we made GCs and of course I'M NOT THERE.

That is not totally uncommon here in Indiana. Especially with Indianapolis choir competitions. In Marching Band, it is VERY common. It gives groups twice the amount of shows to better themselves as well as get exposure. Our director has told us of choirs that have won two grand championships in the same day. I wish I could remember who did it.

Ya i have heard of groups who have done that... cant remember who now... lol but i guess its different in the midwest... well minnesota atleast lol we dont have that many show choirs (YET) but that would be fun, and a lot of stress haha

Northrop made the choice to compete in finals @ Norwell instead. Edgewood will be taking their place. They performed first and I guess had a stellar show. Please give feedback.

why would they go to 2 comps in the same weekend?

I know Music Warehouse didn't make finals. 2nd time in five years and maybe the 4th time in fifteen years that we haven't made finals.

7 show choir alums...
2 show choir members...
and
1 show choir fan...

all sit currently, in ONE basement, in Auburn, IN filling out their Dekalb Show Choir Invitational 2009 "Valentine's Day Massacre" prediction sheets.

All 10 have WV in first. And 9 have BG in second.

We shall see! Happy Valentine's Day!

I am very observant and I remember things really easily..especially faces
=>
I just so happened to click on your profile, and remembered you.
It is a very cool solo. A cappella singing is hard to master..I was very impressed!
and as far as the solo competitions go.
GOOD LUCK!
I perform at 3:48, myself.
I am hoping that will be a little better than 10:30 a.m. (when High Voltage performs)

Oh, I didn't know you were from High Voltage! I saw your show, and I though you guys were great! You may remember me from the video room. haha

And turns out I didn't make solos this time. Ah well, there's always Mooresville. Good luck to you, though!

This is true, and I'm quite surprised you know this.

I, as well, will hopefully be doing the solo competition, though I won't know until tomorrow.
