I can't wait to see DeKalb perform!!!!
But that kid that looks like a barbie doll graduated. He's the only performer in that whole group that i ever even looked at.
It'll be interesting to see if the group is ready to step up to the challenge of show choir without Dylan Smith. He seems pretty irreplaceable.

I read Barbie doll and immediately thought of Dylan! And then when I read his name I got really excited that I was right! I'm going to miss his stage presence!

This is the toughest competition to pick in the country!!!! Especially with the controversial ISMMA scoring!!! These results could go any way!!!! But with this said I'm going to go out on a limb and predict!!!

What is the "controversial ISMMA scoring"?

Finals Predictions!

I think Franklin Central, Buffalo Grove, Eisenhower, and Waubonsie are shoe ins for finals baring anything catastrophic. That leaves 2 open spots. Northrop, Marysville, Edgewood and Carroll are the most likely to fill those spots. Based on the schedule and the judges that have been at Dekalb in the past, I would say Carroll has a good shot and I will guess Marysville. From postings I have read, this will be Edgewood's fist time out and that is always hard. I think that the early time slot and the double performance schedule could hurt Northrop. Just guessing though. They are all good groups and I haven't personally seen any of them yet this year.

Good Luck!

GC: W. Valley
1RU: EEE
2RU: FC Singers
3RU: BG Expressions
4RU: Marysville
5RU: Medina/Northrop/Churubusco- I think Medina gets this spot in an Ohio competition with normal scoring, but could go to any 3 schools with this scoring!!!

Vocals: WV
Choreo: EEE
Band: FC Singers

This should be a very close score gap!!!! Any 3 of the top schools could win....

Thats too difficult to use that lol i just want the point across

But you can't get your point across if no one understands what you're trying to say, Cody. ;)

But about Dekalb, it'll be interesting to see if Waubonsie Valley can stay on top of this tough competition. Also should be quite a contest to fill out the top six with so many top-notch groups fighting for a few spots. Groups like Carroll, 'Busco, Medina, Edgewood, Northrop will really need to bring out the big guns for this one... And on Valentines day too haha
