I think this will be an extremely close comp. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I do think it's awesome for Show Choir to have all these amazing top groups in the nation all in one comp. NYC this year and Chicago last year are probably the closest thing Show Choir has to a national championship.
I love these competitions where there are 8 choirs and then 6 finalists... shouldn't there be a "no more than at least 50% make it to finals" rule?
My guess is FAME tries to keep as many groups as possible happy by getting to perform twice and say "we made finals at FAME NYC 2009!" which, is no easy task even if there is only 8-9 groups! HA
After having a few sleepless nights and knotted stomachs thinking about missing this spectacular competition... I'm going to be making a very small day trip out of it. I can't wait to see these phenomenal groups!
At least FAME did their part by getting the cup out of Branson and moving it around to different places each year... now it's up to the choirs to throws their hats in the ring.

FAME needs to make public a schedule ASAP- People are trying to make plans on when to arrive at this competition and it doesn't help not knowing when the first group goes!

FFE has been on a mission this season. Look for them to be in the top 3. They have been past GCs of this competiiton. lol
i think everyone has been on a mission this season...
A possibility as always, but the lineup here is much more deep with talent than last year's at FAME Chicago. If Sound Sensations does make finals color me impressed, but I'd be very surprised to see that happen.
