The information we received is that the cost for the girls performance only is $13.00, it is also $13.00 to attend the mixed performances. The cost is $20.00 for both.
I am SOOO Happy to see that HN and FC are now competing at state. With them added it is truly going to be a tough competition this year. I will hold myself back from making predictions so I don't get in trouble.
Congradulations are in order for all these groups this has to be the tightest competition anyone has had to predict for awhile all these choirs are amazing and this is a coin toss but here are my predictions
GC:North central
1st :Franklin Central
2nd:Hunnington North
3rdlainfield/LC/Warren central
4th: Plainfield /LC/Warren central/Carmel
5th: Plainfield/LC/Warren Central/Carmel
6th: Carmel
7th:Dekalb
8th: Ben Davis
9th: Brownsburg
10: Columbia city
and bishop luers isn't going so here are my top 11...
The ISSMA competition started in 2005... CG has never competed for state, i really wish they would... North Central won the first 2 years of competition, then Carmel won 07. Only because i think NC had a bit of a building year last year... i really think if NC had been as good in 07 as they were in 06, they would have still won state, Carmel picked a good year to come back...
I'm still thinking a bit about Carmel, because they did have a really disappointing showing at North Central, Did any one see their last show? if so what did you think?
Right now if you're just looking at Contest Results, I'd say the closest prediction is...
GC: North Central (Choreo, Band)
1RU: Franklin Central (Vocals) ((maybe not, but the vocals really are top notch this year))
2RU: Huntington North (could very well suprise and be number 1 or 2)
3RU: Carmel
4RU: Ben Davis
5RU: Dekalb
6RU: Anderson Highland
7RU: Lawrence Central
8RU: Plainfield (could easily move up)
9RU: Warren Central (will probably move up)
10RU: Columbia City
11RU: Brownsburg
But really who knows... haha, Now add Laff Jeff and CG to that list, and tell me Indy doesn't have the strongest groups around...
WOW, what a set of groups... absolutely amazing
I don't think Anderson Highland is going to ISSMA state....They're not on the original list. Did they take the place of Luers?
As far as I know they have never competed at ISSMA States (or at leat they haven't in years.)

Did Center Grove not make States this year? Or are they competing elsewhere?
They're going to Show Stoppers too. It's nice that they didn't take up a space in the ISSMA state comp (since clearly they would have qualified at any of several competitions they attended) and push another choir out that would like to compete.

i just talked to one of my friends from luers he said that yes they are going to orlando and not state. he also said that issma said no subsitutes, so it looks like there will only be 11 mixed choirs?
I thought Carroll was taking there place but I guess not if there are those rules.
