Not the order of finals...just the groups I was told.

Benton was the winner from the Auditorium.

Mt. Pleasant is not very good....

I like Adam's predictions, except I would switch around Des Moines Roosevelt and put them before Muscatine. I think they definitely could beat West Delaware too. Also, Urbandale won Best Band at Linn-Mar against Iowa City West. I like West's band better, but I would not be surprised to see Urbandale sweep.

I feel weird making predictions...but there's a first time for everything:

GC: CR Kennedy "Happiness Inc." BV
1st RU: Urbandale "Studio 2008" BC
2nd RU: IC West "Goodtime Company" BB
3rd RU: Urbandale "Vitality"
4th RU: DM Roosevelt "Show Choir"
5th RU: Benton Community "Celebration Co."

I believe that top score in the auditorium makes finals, and I don't think that I could see Benton getting shut out of that. Having never seen DM Roosevelt this year, I think Benton could finish as high as 3rd Runner Up. Hopefully Happiness can be a little lighter on their feet this year and hopefully not put a hole in Jefferson's stage for the third time in three years!

Middle School results from tonight:

GC: C.R. Regis "Eclipse" (Best Choreography)
1RU: C.R. McKinley "Classic Edition" (Best Vocals)

Congrats to Regis for their third win of the season, and fourth Best Choreography caption, out of four competitions!


Good luck to everyone tomorrow! Go Kennedy, represent 42nd Street well ;)

I'd agree.... I'd only add that it's a shift on both parts... Jefferson is getting more groups and Washington is not. At least Mo Show is bigger than 2007.

It seems over the past couple years Jefferson has been getting closer to Washington in terms of number of quality groups to attend their competition. It will be interesting to see if that trend continues.

Okay, I don't think I've seen a topic up for this competition yet, so I decided to make one!

Anyone know who's going or where to find a schedule? Studio 2008 will be there, and I believe I heard that Kennedy will be there too.

Just excited for our last competition!
