This schedule has just been sent to me by our director - please keep in mind that we plan for the OVS to go back to the usual format for 2009, but changes were made because the competition was "snowed out" and now many groups have other committments that prevent them from coming to the Showcase this weekend (Sports, SAT's, Proms, etc.) Please know that we are all working hard to make sure the groups that come down this weekend have a GREAT experience!!!!

This was given to us by our director, but I thought I had seen in an earlier post that Northrop wouldn't be able to attend and that East Madrigals would be attending. Anyone from Southwestern able to post an "official" list?
It's almost time for the much anticipated "Ohio Valley Showcase"!!! Are there any last minute additions to the line-up? Anybody still on the fence about attending? I'm so excited I can't wait!!!
There were a handful of people that couldn't make the date, but our director didn't know that the next morning (Sunday the 13th) was his sons confirmation. You kinda have to prioritize things like that
Here is a list of groups who are scheduled to compete at the Ohio Valley Showcase on April 11th and 12th. We just returned from Spring Break and plans are being finalized this week. The JH groups will compete on Friday evening and the HS groups will begin on Saturday in the early afternoon and continue into the evening hours with awards around 10:00/10:30 PM. The Championship Mixed groups will be compete on Saturday evening.
JH Show Choirs - Northwood, Edgewood, South Dearborn, Oak Hill and Greendale
Varsity Division Show Choirs - Triton Central, Martinsville, Austin, Bellmont, Whiteland and possibly Ross
Championship Women's - Bellmont and possibly Princeton
Championship Mixed - Edgewood (OH), Teays Valley (OH), St. Albans (WV), Winfield (WV) , East (OH) and Northrup (IN)
We still have room if anyone else would like to add one more competition before things really get busy in May. We have a load of trophies to give away!
I am soooo glad that we are actually doing another competition this year! Northrop Charisma is coming, it will be our last competition this year and I am wanting to see how well this competition since I have been hearing a lot about it! So we will have to see! Good luck to all!
