We should be finding out who made finals in like the next hour or so, right?

Should be any time. I don't know how behind schedule they are.

Ah... thanks for clearing that up. I was confused by the fact the PRCC is giving the Finals Exhibition... what I missed was the "Tidal Rave" is giving an exhibition performance after the day performances.

Thanks for the sanity check... I thought I had lost it for a minute. " border="0" alt="hypno.gif" />

No problem I have been home sick all week, not with my choir, and stressing to the max. So my sanity is getting to much rest!

PRCC had their competition, Mississippi Show Choir Contest, the year of Katrina at Petal. Kim Kinsey and the Petal School District helped them out with it since the ball had already been rolling on it and Dr. Malone was still there and wanted to have it. The end of that year Dr. Malone retired and took the Dean of Winter's School of Music at William Carey Universtiy. PRCC looked long and hard for a replacement for the 2006-2007 school year, but did not find the right match for the job. The competition did not take place that year. This year they have hired LaDonna Tysen who was the assisstant at Petal for the last two years, and she is wanting to start the competition back, but they still do not have a facility to host it in at PRCC. I think that they will have it completed by next year, but who knows.

Picayune is the next town south of Poplarville, where PRCC is located, and they began hosting the Best of South competition 4 years ago. Laurine Mizell began it when he was the director at Picayune. They have a nice facility and it is an okay competition.

Does PRCC still have a competition (or is this it... if, so why is called Picayune now)? I was thinking that for 1 year they moved the competition to Petal or somewhere, but I didn't know if they still hosted one on there campus? This schedule's got me all confused?

Anyone have a clue who is going? Have schedules even been sent out yet? " border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

I just got off the phone with Ms. Carter and there have been some issues with the scheduling. She said that she is e-mailing the correct schedule out today. So maybe by tonight we will know more.
