weinzettelRC: Curious, when you say the judges do that to you once again what to you mean? Because I didnt notice any errors or unfairness but i could be wrong???

As far as I'm aware, there wasn't anything wrong with the judging. I have no idea what he's talking about, and please don't think that all of Riverside is really bitter about this, because we're not! Of course we wish we could have placed higher, but we are pleased with 3rd place and had a great time at Waukee.

Hastings -- congratulations on a great performance. I have to tell you how much we appreciated your support -- not only did your students shout out encouragement to ours all day, but some of our parents were stopped by your parents during and after finals to compliment us on our show. You guys are a class act and I hope we run into you during the 2009 season!

How'd the stage setup go? Did the parents have any trouble with it? I'm gonna miss that old stage.....okay not really. Next year at our competition is going to be really nice when we don't have to setup or tear down that beast.

We had no problems with it so far that I've heard. Everyone was in there taking it down tonight. It took us an hour. We had a blast taking it down. Thankyou so much for letting us use it. We miss the stars though!

As for everyone who competed GREAT JOB!! We loved hosting you guys!

Valley Omgosh!!! I was blown away! Your show is amazing and your vocals give me chills. Liked the last solo on the guys song. ;) You guys totally deserved it. You've worked so hard and have come a long away since Johnston.

Johnston I still love your show. It was great having you guys up there in Waconia. You keep getting better. Your ballad makes me wanna cry everytime. Its so good! It was very close between you and Valley. Great job on best choreography.

btw 5th place was awarded to Harrisonville HS. They are from Missouri and were a 3A school

So is there any news of finals at Waukee yet? Or is the day round still going on?

Don't have the complete standings, but...
In the HS Prep Division at Waukee
Ankeny, Internal Combustion...our 9th grade choir..took 1st place against the field of prep choirs.
PM did not compete.
IC is choreographed this year by Lexi Robson and Jon Brugioni of Visual Adrenaline. Mr. Ben Joseph
is the Director.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! wow....people don't usually say such nice stuff like that one here....

well as a group we obviousally like to win. But we have realized that certian judging pannels will place certian choirs differently. We have respect for other performers and if they win, good for them- if we win, then yeah thats awesome haha. Not saying we dont want to win, we just dont gage our success on it.
