Yesterday was a very unique and exciting competition for me for plenty of reasons. The breakdown:

The Good:
I really enjoyed the time I spent at this competition in the hallways mingling with other groups. People were so supportive and friendly, I felt a real sense of camaraderie throughout the day.
Luers - You guys are always one of the best groups to be at a competition with, I know some people in our choirs are really close and I think that's just amazing that we have this great relationship.
And special shoutout to Homestead, I know in the past we've maybe not been the closest of groups, but after night awards when we were both walking back to our rooms(In not the best of moods) hearing your supportive words as we walked by really meant something to a lot of us, so thank you for being awesome! Hopefully we can both have happier endings when we see eachother at Carroll!

And to Norwell, you guys kept this long competition running great all day. Probably the best run contest I've been to this year. All your parents especially were so friendly and caring, you guys really made it a great place to compete.

The Bad:
Let's face it, this was a looong day. And Norwell not going on 'till after midnight was a bit ridiculous, I felt bad for those kids having to perform that late after a full day of hosting, but you performed your show well!

And I'm not sure, maybe this was just me, but I feel like the audience in the gym was just dead all day. Even for the host choirs, everyone was very quite, very restrained.
I remember, during Beavercreeks show, in one of their dance breaks me and the people I was sitting with were cheering and "whooting" like people normally do fduring good dance breaks, and some people nereby were looking at us like it was innapropriate to be supporting another choir. It wasn't like the audience was being unsportsman-like or rude, they just didn't cheer like you normally see. Oh well... just one of those things I guess.

Thanks again to Norwell for a great day! Congrats to Whiteland, LJ, and Chsterton on your wins!

The girl's GC would be the Jefferson Expressions! =) Great job everyone and a big grats to Chesterton, loved your show!

And PS to Justin: Im the random girl who wished you happy birthday! =P

haha, alrighty. thanks again. it was a great birthday! =D

I think everyone did a fantastic job out there. It was a great competition. Chesterton, you are really good and deserved the GC. I love your sound at the end of one of your numbers. I was sad that they don't give out outstanding preformer. But it's cool. lol

Norwell, I loved you ballad and I was really into it and it was very relaxing and soothing. Awesome job hosting us. The competition ran well. I think that out of all of the competitions that I've been to that we have to preform in a gym, I think that your stage in the gym is awesome! It was easier to get on and off the stage and the stage overall looked good. You could really hear everyting that was going on. The sound system was really awesome. haha

Congrats again to Chesterton and congrats to everybody at Norwell for putting on an excellent show and making it a superior competition!

Not happy with your 3rd Runner Up placing?

4RU: Homestead
5RU: Whiteland

Choreo and Vocals: Chesterton

I don't think Fairfield girls made finals. I got the message that none of our groups even made finals.

Anyway, good job everybody! Too bad Fusion wasn't in the mix.

Does anybody have the daytime placements AND scores?
