Ok... South Jones could be the 2nd best group in Mississippi (only behind Clinton). I consider them to be neck-and-neck with Petal. I have no idea how they look this year as I haven't seen them, but if the last two to three years are any indication, I think they'll be pretty good.

Taking a blind stab at the finals probably wouldn't be good for me, but I'll make 1 prediction. I think South Jones will place higher than 5th Runner Up as so many of you are predicting.

I may eat crow after tomorrow night... but, I don't mind.

sweet thanks, does anyone have it so they could put it up on youtube i really want to see their show! i think the last time i saw them was 2005! I really liked there show

I just posted a short video sample from a rehersal on YouTube. It's not the best quality in the world, but maybe it'll give you a little idea of what they look like now-a-days.

The kids are not dressed in their costumes, and are accompanied by a CD, as you'll see.

Of course, costumes and a full band will be in place at Edgewood.

See y'all this weekend! On the bus to Ellettsville as we speak!

Ellettsville is supposed to get 3-4 inches and ice. So depending on where everyone is staying the night, you may or may not want to take into consideration of slow driving. I wish a safe trip for everyone and can't wait to see everyone there!!!

Yeah i will take it slow getting there then, Thanks for letting us know! I am not sure where we are staying so, I guess i will find out later lol!

Championship
Warren Central Connection
Mt. Zion Swingsations
Fairfield Choraliers
Highland Highland Singers
Troy Buchanan Express
South Jones Company
Sullivan Singers

a small lineup, but there are some well-known and consistent groups. i'm definitely cheering for Fairfield and looking for them to prove their talent out of state. if they perform as they did during finals competition at the Marysville "Showcase," i'm very comfortable with predicting a win for them.

GC- Fairfield
1RU- Sullivan
2RU- Mt. Zion
3RU- Troy
4RU- Warren Central
5RU- South Jones

Vocals- Fairfield or Sullivan
Choreo- Fairfield or Mt. Zion
Band- Fairfield

Where are all these groups staying? Bloomington? Indianapolis?

There is 1 hotel in the little town of Ellettsville (only 850 kids at our school) and that hotel is run down and podunk. Not to be a stalker but let me know and I will TRY to get some Good Luck signs if they are local. " border="0" alt="happy.gif" />

They debuted their show this past weekend at their invitational.
