Dr. Trevor, Glendora's director, wanted to provide an opportunity for the mid-level and novice groups to compete. That's why this competiton is not for advanced groups. The Arcadia Pow Wow had always been for advanced and intermediate groups (two divisions) until this year when it became one division because so many advanced groups wanted to attend. There are a few other competitions out their that are not for advanced groups.

singndancr, lol! I am not sure what it means to be honest. lol! I have visited twice since he has been in charge and seen them perform last year a few times and he is more into the classical music.

That doesn't mean to much. It all depends on the Adjudicators.

As far as Celebration... I suppose you will have to wait and see. I do know that Lawrence and Sergio aren't really invloved anymore, so interesting things so be happening. Who knows!

isnt celebration an advanced choir? so why are you competing in the intermediate level. that doesnt seem fair. but thats just my opinion.

At one point Glendora used to be an advanced comp.  Back in my day.  Now the new instructor is more classically oriented.

Which means WHAT, exactly???

I think Burroughs "SOundwaves" might be "in" the festival. (Its not competing in a festival " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> )
