Teays Valley! My alma matter has made me so proud. You have come so far and are truly amazing. Congratulations and push yourselves and make the rest of the year spectacular! There is still a lot of show choir left.

To the other groups... Congrats on your accomplishments! I am sure this comp was VERY close. Good luck the rest of the season!

Looks like Teays is back to their winning ways. I remember they didn't make finals last year at Edgewood, but its hard to when finalists were Marysville, Findlay, Eisenhower, Crete, Franklin Central, and Sullivan.

anyone know points? or the placings from daytime?

I left after day awards, but I watched every group and I'm fairly sure Teays Valley won the day. Would not shock me to see Nitro up pretty high too, they had a great performance. Awards that haven't been listed in the post above

2RU Class C- Herbert Hoover
2RU Class B- Winfield
2ru Class A- Martinsburg

I'd probably rank the day like this...these ARE NOT the real rankings (and keep in mind I'm not a judge and don't claim to be one, so no one attack me if your group is lower than you think it should be)

1.Teays Valley
2.Hurricane
3.Nitro
4.Garfield Heights
5.Edgewood
6.Martinsburg
7. Cabell Midland
8.Capital
9. Winfield
10.Herbert Hoover
11. Morgantown
12. Central Crossing
13. Ravenswood
14. Maritetta

Teays had a load of energy today. Hurricane does a bit more unison choreography this year but didn't have the same power in their vocals during the day that I'd seen them have the past few years.

Winfield apparently didn't do their whole show...so I guess I'll have to try to catch it somewhere else when it's done. They had some pretty good vocal moments in the first part of the show, but it was pretty clear the second part wasn't up to speed. They are probably about a week or so away from really being in contention for a finals spot at most competitions.
