I'd like to go see a couple certain schools perform; but Lakelands musical is this weekend, soo I can only watch up to a certain time as I have to be @ the school @ a certain time.
Who ever posted the schedule for the Classic Showcase had wrong information. That is not the competiton schedule for this weekend. Schools are right, but all the times are wrong.

Closer medley: Locomotion/ Please, Mr. Postman/ Baby Love/ Leader of the Pack/ Stop! in the Name of Love
because they dropped out....does that mean everything will bump up 30ming or how is the scheadul going to chnage.......or is not going to change at all????

Mixed finals are for both large and small mixed. We do have a separate small mixed trophy as well as a small mixed band award. (At least, that's what we did last year...)
This competition is pretty much for choirs not competing at ISSMA State.
6 spot in finals. For small and large mixed, or just large mixed? I would hope the former.
A not-so-wild guess tells me that both Columbia City groups will drop out of Homestead to attend ISSMA.

Instrumentals: Chesteron (because I think Norwell still has more than 1 adult)
Mixing the mixed divisions

4th: Bellmont
5th: North Side
6th: Southmont
Vocals: Chesterton or Norwell
Choreography: Chesterton or Norwell
Instrumentals: Chesteron (for the same reason as above)

There are still a few spots for large and small mixed, Single-Gender, concert and middle school choirs at the Homestead Classic Showcase, March 15, 2008, in Fort Wayne. Come and experience the fun of competing against the best choirs in the Midwest! All competitions are on the same day, in the same building... a real plus for directors and parents!
You'll also enjoy the "CoffeeHouse" - a non-judged performance room where individuals showcase their talents all day long. The "People's Choice" winner can perform in the evening during finals if they would like. It is a fun time!
