Good luck to all choirs for this wonderful competition, but more importantly:
Good luck to GCS. I'm supporting you 100% even if I won't be there. (tear)
Trust me, you're going to be seeing much more of me over the competitive season. Just go into it with as much passion as always and really believe what you're performing. Regardless of the outcome, that alone will make it a personal grand championship.

OMG, I'm so cheezy. I just love my old choir. LOVE YOU ALL! GOOD LUCK!!

You do know that Im basically the only GCSer who even does SCC now?
Well, Ill be sure to let the others know what you said. at least the important ones

I'm with you on this. I have to get up for a Show Choir Early Bird at 6:30 but I'm too excited to sleep...

Haha, lame. 6:30AM!? Haha.

I'm always up this late....I still have a good 3 hours before I go to bed...makes for a painful Saturday morning though!!!

It is cheezy, but so well written!

"Just go into it with as much passion as always and really BELIEVE what you're performing..."

Perfect words Nick!

I will text you periodically throughout the day so you know what's going on!!! See you Friday!!

Bleck, last year Jefferson boarded for Monona at like 4 or 4:30. It SUCKED. I was up so early that the gas station down the street with the BEST gas station coffee wasn't even open. This year we're going up Friday and staying over. So we get to miss the last class of the day (which is a choir class for half of us anyway) and then we're leaving. I'm stoked. Finally we can cut down on the looooong practices and just perform.

AHHH!!! SO SOON!!! i'm so excited, i'm making decorations for our locker...

anyway... we're hitting the road at 6:30 so that we can unload before our soloists and because of our right-after-lunch time slot. hope the bus seats make nice beds.

I am super excited! Can't wait to see this year's CR Jefferson and Prairie, LaX Central and Logan, Milton, Mayville...well, everybody! I just wish there was a way for us to see more groups in the afternoon...but then we wouldn't have a warm-up. See you all there!

Very excited for the first competition that i'll be attending. I've seen GCS and Logan, and am impressed with where those groups are. Very excited to see Prairie.....everyone has been saying how good you were at Viterbo, so I can't wait for that. Eau Claire, I hope you guys are doing as well as last year.........and then of coruse F.A., Jefferson (band=always great), broadhead, may, and everyone else. Should be a great competitions with no guarenteed finalists......everyone's going to have to earn those spots!

I found another Weaver group who did your closer (Petal 07)
now granted I haven't seen your show at all, i am just wondering how close you would say this is to your version?
Since we are talking about fresh material...

The arrangment is pretty much identical as far as singing and the band (we do some different stuff with vocals) Our choreography is for the most part different i think one of the lifts they did we do.... but other than that the complete combination of moves is totally different.
