I found another Weaver group who did your closer (Petal 07)
now granted I haven't seen your show at all, i am just wondering how close you would say this is to your version?
Since we are talking about fresh material...

Is all of the stuff in your show new Weaver material? I don't think I've seen any of it, but I don't see all of Mike's groups.

I have been in our varsity group for 3 years and I have never done any of the combos that we have this year. Like some years we see a group with the same stuff as us kinda but tweeked in a new way and I have never seen this, but this is a new style for us.

So we got our loading stuff today and we should be arriving at about 11 or 11:30. Luckily, we'll get to see a couple groups. I REALLY HOPE WE SEE GCS THOUGH. Cuz they are right after us in Prelims so we can't watch em then.

W00t.

Oh! and if you guys happen to see me, say hi. I'll be wearing a red bandana (like in my pic). I'm also the ballad soloist if you get to see our show. Say hi--I dig people.

I cant wait to see another Mike Weaver group especially since we have some different "Weaver" Choreography that I have never seen before (I saw a lift in dancing with the stars once)

Ever heard of playing devil's advocate?

GC: CR Prairie (BV)
1RU: Lax Central (BC)
2RU: CR Jefferson (BB)
3RU: Eau Claire
4RU: LaX Logan
5RU: Fort Atkinson
Discuss.

While i can't say we'll win, i think we might make the competition interseting. i am a definant fan of Lax Central and Jefferson, and I can see us getting anything. We'll see what happens, and I'm so excited to see all of your shows! Isn't it awesome that we can compete like this and all get along so well? it's great that people our age can do that without huge arguments!

So the musical I'm in at the Theater here in Eau Claire has a bunch of people in Altoona's and Chippewa's Show Choirs. The Altoona people though Mayville was AMAZING at Colby and a couple people from Chi Hi said that Prairie was flawless at V'bo. So--Mayville is now in my mix for finals.

When I first looked at the list for this comp, I thought that it was going to be a fairly cut and dried finalists list but after this weekend, i don't think anyone really knows!

Cedar Rapids Prairie won Viterbo with Best Vocals.

The other 3 likely placers: La Crosse Central, Cedar Rapids Jefferson, and Eau Claire all didn't compete this weekend.

how did any of the groups that are going to MG do this weekend? I know Mayville got GC, best male vocalist in a show choir, best female soloist from the soloist comp. and best coriography, also parkview got 4th runner- up (all of this is from colby btw).
