Everyone had awesome shows!!!

Hastings- You're closer was so cool!! Those fiddlers were incredible!! You're so lucky to have such amazing musicians in your group!! Didn't you open w/ Deliver us? Hmm..can't remember! Too many shows! But I think you did. That was Altoona's ballad two years ago. It was interesting to watch it performed more up beat, but u guys did great with it!

Kay, i posted this in the "predictions" topic, and decided that it didn't belong there, so if you read it in that topic, it's the same thing that i just moved to the "results" topic! sorry for the confusion!

wow, that was a very fun competition! props to monona grove for a well-run comp, and thanks to everyone for some great shows!
sauk-i didn't get the opportunity to see your show at milton, and i was very apprehensive to see what all the "commotion" (i'm referencing past SCC topics) was about. i was impressed! you pulled off a completely original set very well! congrats!
locomotion- your ballad is comprised of 2 of my favorite broadway songs EVER! "no one is alone" almost ALWAYS makes me cry, and if you heard someone gasp in the middle (when you broke into "not while i'm around") yeah, that was me! i sang the whole song with you! can i join your choir just for the ballad! your novelty was very well done, you all stayed in character so well!
Parkview- i really liked your opener! you had a cool set! well done!
Neenah- i wish i'd gotten to see your show! your band must be really awesome! good job to them, and congrats on a good finish!
Mt. Zion- yeah. wow. awesome job! i am simply amazed at how you can clean such difficult choreography and perform it impeccably. every single person on stage has an "aura of confidence" (to quote josh!) and such a stage presence, it really is a treat to watch you guys. thanks for coming and waving to our bus too! that made us feel special! congratulations on GC, BC, and the whole deal!

i was glad to see choirs i hadn't seen before (sauk, madison, altoona) i had a great time! i hope to see some of you at the hastings competition, and then again at totino and mo show! peace!

I also liked Brodhead-I saw you on the TV in my room- and I was SUPER excited when you did Mulan-cuz its my favorite disney movie and song on the soundtrack(which, the whole thing is good by the way ) but yeah-would have been nice to see you in finals too-but it was definitely tough today!!! Cant wait til your comp in a month!!!!! does anyone know who they're hosting yet-or is it too early??

Amazing Evening!
Congratulations to everyone!
Mount Zion
You simply glow with confidence! I hardly even noticed your amazing facials, I was so blown away by the confident atmosphere you guys bring to the stage! The usual unbelievable choreography of Swings, now with matching vocals... wow!

Sauk Prairie
Very unusual, very entertaining! Amazing vocal moments, great band support! Solos were right on! I look forward to seeing your show again!

Parkview
Oh, so great to watch! It was awesome to see completely different interpretations of Renegade & Smooth Criminal (hastings last year) and of Deliver Us (hastings this year)... Clean up and Jazz up those vocals... So many great ideas shoved into 20 minutes!

Brodhead
Was hopin to see you in finals! Sean, have yet to hear your 'man-making' solo... See you guys in a few weeks!

Monona
Love the theme - sets up for a powerful closer! April gave you a lot of armography, so keep cleaning... Awesome performances tonight. I'm excited to compete with you in a few weeks!

Oh man! I had an insanely fun time at Monona!!

Congratulations to everyone who made finals!!

MTZ - Xtra Congrats!!! I still have your set stuck in my head!!

Altoona - I really enjoyed your show, Liar was my fav :-D

Sauk - I hadn't seen you guys before tonight, and I was really surprised. Your show is really different, and it took some getting used to... but I was really entertained!

Neenah - Didn't get to see you guys, but I think I might buy a finals DVD so I'll see you many, many times on that ;)

Parkview - Your show was really entertaining! I loved the theme, and the Jail #'s were really cool!

Doesn't Sauk have one coming up soon? Maybe thats next weekend, but I could be totally wrong, so don't take my word for it.

No fort wasn't there. They were at Milton and didn't make finals there, but there is a lot of controversy over the judging at Milton.

I didn't get to see Mt. Z and Parkview but I did see Altoona, Hastings, Neenah and Brodhead. I enjoyed everyone's show, but out of those, Brodhead had me groovin' in my seat the most with "Carry On My Wayward Son" - I wish they could have been in finals as well.
