Our final HD clip comes to us from South Jones' "Company," and fittingly, it's the closer to their 2008 show. Selections are "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Jungle Boogie," originally performed by Guns N' Roses and Kool & The Gang, respectively.

I would like to apologize for not being able to include Burroughs' "Sound Sensations" in the HD showcase. I know that many times the girls groups feel like they are not given the same amount of coverage, and it was certainly my intention to film their group as well. We did not have enough time to set up all of our equipment after prelims before the finals round began, and Burroughs just happened to be the first group to perform. My sincere congratulations to everyone in Sound Sensations for making the finals round at an extremely competitive event, and thanks again to FAME Events for making these videos possible!
there's also an html code for the umlaut, not hard. and i know he said before when he takes too long with a post he gets kicked off...it's a possibility. haha. but you guys are entertaining. =P
Well to pass time, Anyone remember discussion a while back about how to do an umlaut in Häakon's name? I googled it and figured out there is an easier way than copy/pasting it.
I'm no expert on FAME, but based on my observations the regulars have been Hawaii, Chicago, New York, Orlando, and Branson. (There are obviousally more now, but those are some I have seen years in a row.)
And yeah, Chicago in 2005 was an easy sweep for Eisenhower 'Elite Energy'- they won GC with 1RU Sauk Prarie and 2nd RU yours truely (Valley Choralation). I think the next group below us was a womens group, but I am not positive. It was also in a theater somewhere downtown, not in the Genesee Theater.
It's standard to have 6 groups make finals, but depending on the competition (or lack there of) it can be less. FAME Chicago 2005 only had 3 finalists, and I remember a few FAME events that had 4 or 5.
South Jones made finals. They placed 4th Runner Up ahead of John Burroughs girls. Therefore, Haakon would have taped them.
That's weird- I wonder how FAME decides how many groups are in finals. It seems to be different at every event- no matter how many choirs are competing.
