Almost as great as learning the results of the competition was reading the 100 posts immediately preceeding the results being posted.

Congrats to all who competed. I love how all the SCCers who were at Wapakoneta this weekend were just sitting there waiting for these results

I know Adam, that was funny. We were like results....!!! Come on.

I'm working on ripping the Prelims performance for North Central right now. It's definitely not the finals performance, but it's something. I'll have it posted later today.

The Prelims show includes fog on the first number and confetti guns in the closer, neither of which were used in finals. The fog threw us off a lot since we had never done it before.

lol ok. You guys are North central... You don't need fog and junk to kick major tail (that had to be pg lol)

Right here....jk! Performing at FAME was such an awesome experience, and our finals show was the best we had ever been, so walking away from the stage afterwards was a great feeling. Afterwards all we wanted to do was have fun, so we did! (thanks to Soundcheck and Powerhouse for participating in the noisemaking after finals! " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> ) Just being in those final rankings felt like a win, and every single group there was very impressive. Congratulations to everyone, I hope the other groups were as satisfied after last night!
P.S.- Waubonsie Valley is now one of my favorite groups.

Honestly NC! This was a competition between (in my opinion), the Top 3 groups in the country. Not that i think everyone thinks these three are THE top... But definately my three favorite choirs. Being in a competition this close with Burroughs, Clinton, and Waubonsie with that awesome show this year... wow What a good time! I can't imagine ANYONE feeling like they "lost" at this competition. And NC, Getting 2 1st place rankings at this comp is still a huge accomplishment. Oh and Yeah Waubonsie has really grown on me... I never thought they'd win or get 2nd in this competition, but i LOVE the show. i'm ready to see this vid when it is up. lol

I just had to laugh when i watched WVs vid on youtube, on "I Want It All Back" on the words "you may have thought, You won that Last round" Some chick was just reeaaaally into it and the word "Last".... ahaaha. ok It's a REALLY good number i love that groups are doing relatively New gospel!!! really cool to hear. And WV's men's sound on "if you only knew" is really close to the sound of the recordings i've heard.

SO! Now that you don't have anyone to surprise lol.
North Central, UPLOAD RIGHT NOW...
Same to JBPH and WV and South Jones... Can't wait to see all of your shows

*Note

Be sure to see my predictions about 40 pages back....
WOW!!!

Come on Mr.A We cant give you credit for your predictions when you couldn't make up your mind between 1st and 2nd so you just put 2 groups lol.

CONGRATS POWERHOUSE! Hey Mr. Jennings I think you didn't get the memo that said when a school gets a new director they're supposed to go through a rebuilding phase lol. All you've done since your arrival is win both fame competitions you've been to and over the last 2 years beat the likes of Ankeny, Burbank, Clinton, and North Central. Congrats again and safe travels. See you guys at SO CAL

WAY TO GO BURROUGHS!!!! I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!

I can't wait to see an actual video and not Fan cam... lol

CONGRATULATIONS...

So where are all the NC people talking about how they got ripped off? those are always entertaining posts.

Congratulations Powerhouse! I know all of Celebration was routing for you! =)
Thanks Andy and Frankie for Keeping us updated! =D

no problem!! It was fun

I've already ordered my DVD on the FAME website

Last night was truely epic. For those there I am sure and also for those on the internet.... I think all who were on SCC last night refreshing over and over again, getting kicked off of SCC, trying desperately to get back on, waiting a full hour for the results, yeah we all had an epic night. lol- The intensity was thick. Any word on how close the night scores were? (in terms of points)

Omg... I'm so excited that Powerhouse won.
When Chris texted me and told me I started freaking out and the people I was with (non show choir people) were like ... WTF!? lol. It made my day. If only I could've been there to see it........

WOW - what a great day! a LONG day, but a great one! I am just to tired to recap and say what i have to say about each group right now, but what i WILL say is that the top 6 were all where i had them, although, i had (in my heart) Soundcheck in 3rd and NC in 4th - i will recap tomorrow, although, im sure by that time it will all be old news -- im just to old to be up any longer - i miss the energy y'all kids have!

Oh, and Haakon - i loved your "Show Choir Idol" shirt, and i was standing behind you waiting for the DVDs to copy (that was the longest 10 mins ever) and i almost said hi - but im a dork and didnt!! Twice I have been at arms reach from you and didnt say hi -- Celebs make me nervous... ;)
ANYWAY -- i will say hi now!!

Greece Athena's director. Ana and I wish you could have been here Jordan!

Ok thanks! I wish I could have been there too. Doran was a jerk and didn't let me go. I'll make it to a SCC get together some day. I am ordering a finals DVD. I'll just pretend I'm sitting by you guys when I watch it.
