Um first of all, holy cow that this forum is 28 friggin pages long.

I give props to Clinton for being a steady, reliable force in the show choir community. Their performances are inspiring to me and definitely something I would like to achieve. I don't think their era is over, it just that other groups are stepping up to the bar that Clinton has been at for so long.

With that said, I cannot deny how absolutely FABULOUS and GENIUS Burroughs' set is this year. It's entertaining and flawless and something that cannot be described online. I'm pulling for Burroughs to win because I know how hard Jen and Brendan have worked and I know how hard everyone wants it.

I cannot wait to hear everyone's reactions for what's coming in Powerhouse 1932 ;o) I don't know if the midwest is going to be able to handle it!!!

I completely agree with you, and since i cant be there to cheer for Powerhouse.....
Can someone cheer loud enough for me??????

I was already seriously considering driving over to the Chicago area to see this competition, but if Häakon is going to be there that might have just sealed the deal. I'd love to meet him in person.

Mr. Temple! What happened to "sealing the deal?" I must be losing my touch...

I must admit I'm dissapointed; I was greatly looking forward to meeting you!

I'm currently sitting on a runway at LAX, posting from my iPhone... flights are delayed due to snow in Chicago! Looks like we're going to get the full experience. :-P

I won't be- since Company and Testostertones can get on without me just fine, I will be at FAME Chicago- tell Woodin he NEEDS to come!!!!

I'll tell him you're going. He might be encouraged to go if he knows for sure there will be some people there that he knows.

Sadly no. Woodin called me today asking if I wanted to make the road trip over for it, but I have to work at my regular day job on Saturday and I'm playing piano at church early Sunday. I think he still might be considering it though.

Won't you be at Grand River anyway?

Thank you for finally dispelling the myth, hours later, that we were renting a yacht... maybe we will now stop receiving text messages from gullible show choir peeps inquiring about it. " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Maybe your 55 short posts in this topic alone has made it a bit larger than it should be. Ever think of that?
