I was wondering where everyone on SCC is staying (if you are) hotel wise?

Ana and I are renting a yacht on Lake Michigan if anyone would like to come visit.

I'm so nervous/excited about Chicago!

Omaha North leaves tomorrow (eight hour drive, not -too- bad considering, but it's enough). I'm still packing, xD

Everyone in the choir is really pumped. We don't usually go to big-name competitions like this one (the biggest choir that most of us have ever seen would be Bloomington-Kennedy, Ralston, ATSC, or Millard West).

When you recover from your long trip, will you outline the route you took to get to Waukegan?

And to think, it's still an hour away from the actual contest site!

Wait like a live performance feed on the internet?

Yeah, it go updated with people going on, coming off, how the performance was, etc. It was pretty freakin awesome. I'd love to see them do it again for Chicago. This will be only the third FAME that I think EVERYONE will be watching with intent eyes, next to World Cup '05 and NYC '06. What was the heavy hitting competition last year? Probably Orlando (Burroughs/Ankeny/FC/Troy), or Chicago (Manchester/Zion/Sullivan). Then of course, Chicago '08 will be this year's big one (Clinton/Burroughs/ NC/Waubonsie/Bloomington Kennedy/South Jones). Wow, I really got off on a tangent there

Are they going to do a live thread thing on scc? they did it for branson In 05, and there's a lot of people who want to see it (at least in utah)

I suspect seating will be at a premium - there will probably be a TON of curious fans there watching.
Lol, true that!

Thank you lowbass- i spent a good ten min looking for this a few days ago lol

And I'm sure you aren't alone! I always copy and paste any schedule etc. of contests I'm attending to a word doc or something and save it on my computer. It's so much easier than trying to dig it up once the threads get filled with all sorts of stuff (like what Ana had for dinner! HA!)

I can't wait for Saturday, though. Heck - even my MOM'S driving out to see this one with me! I suspect seating will be at a premium. It's a large theater, but with this high a profile of choirs attending, and the fact that Waubonsie is more or less local - there will probably be a TON of curious fans there watching.

I want to say after 7, but I'm not sure.

I'll be on my phone as well.

Off to the airport. Powerhouse has been there for awhile.
