I agree, but me putting them in 3rd place is not underestimating Clinton- I'll be the first to tell everyone that they are INCREDIBLE this year. And them losing doesnt make me think that they suck, but it for sure showed me that Clinton was not as invincable as I thought. They are just any other show choir competiting. I just think that groups have caught up to Clinton's skill level. If Clinton wins and sweeps everything, I would not be surprised. Same with JBHS and North Central though. I think those three are just so close that any of them will end on top, and any of them could end on bottom. Trust me, I dont underestimate Clinton lol- I'm a huge Clinton fan. Agreed. Especially after what I've heard about their performance at SCN. It seems as though after someone loses once, they automatically aren't very good. Does that mean NC isn't very good? No. That means that they didn't win it all one time this year.
I may be oblivious, but I haven't heard too much about Waubonsie Valley since Center Grove's contest. Did they compete anywhere else between CG and Fame Chicago?

lets not underestimate WV Sound Check... but yes, i agree.. i dont see Clinton taking this one... i would not be surprised if Sound Check placed over Clinton -- yeah, i said it -- they have the hunger to knock off the big dogs and i think if they come out of the gate strong, it could happen! see y'all there -- CANT WAIT!!!

the scoring method they used when we went when I was in school was odd....they did something like take the total score and divide it so that the score came out of 100. It made the scores look closer than they really were....

I'm not saying I dont like Clinton's show, I just firmly believe that Clinton JBHS and North Central are all going to be so close, that they could probably be in any order. JBHS had a recent big victory over Burbank so I think they have the edge they need to win the whole thing, and I am a huge counterpoints fan as well I believe they are good enough for 2nd. Weird putting Clinton in 3rd, but I really think it could happen.
