John Burroughs used video screens as backdrops
Mundelein also used video screen as a backdrop the same year as Burroughs, so it was a virtual tie.

I will also be interested to see if Sullivan uses video screens like they did last year. I didn't understand the whole concept because it had NO pop to their show. For their last number, I believe it was just the Rolling Stones symbol on the screens. You would think if they had those screens they would at least do some sort of color pop with it. Very new and a great idea, but didn't take the idea the whole nine yards.

Here's a few topics to cover:

What time is your group getting to MTZ?
How far is your drive?
Spending the night?
(feel free to add to the list)

My lil bro (and a friend) told me Manteno is leaving at 6:00 AM and getting there around 8:30... Yay for the sunrise

BTW, hope my past comments have not been too gushing haha. Just finally proud of the group that I used to belong to. Finally think they are good Good luck to everyone though!

Haha, I agree.

Back to Mt. Zion topic: what time is everyone getting there?

Waubonsie Valley should be arriving around 11:30...just enough time to grab something to eat and watch a few groups before our performance at 2:30! I'm excited

Haha, so I guess we are back on this topic........

Yes there is. I am pretty sure it was on that show on MTV where they went to "scary" places. In fact, many of us Manteno Alum know this place well, because in 8th grade we had to go out there to the half that has been renovated into a Veteran's home and volunteer every week in order to graduate. Thought it was a pretty cool project...They have even built a sorta mish mash neighborhood in the area and it is looking quite nice.

They actually have a style that is very unique...so they've heard from several judges already...

PUT SOME VIDEOS UP! The pirate show was horrible...especially at Watseka with that soloist, yikes!

Was it Blood Bess, or Bloody Mess?

I loved their show last year!!! Their show is even better this year!!!!!!!
