i am SO excited about the competition tomorrow ! it's gonna be great ! the judges will have a really hard time deciding who makes finals because there are gonna be so many TALENTED groups there ! good luck to everyone !

Is there best vocals, choreo, and band? Not sure about southern comps... sry, but this is what i would pick:
Vocals: Mt. Zion
Choreo: Clinton
Band: Clinton
Keep in mind I have only seen a couple of these groups... i just want to have fun
It is obvious to me that you know quite a bit about show choir westraen. except vocals, I strongly feel, this year, will go to Clinton also.
The only thing that I'm worried about is that well... NEJ has been having a good season but i'm afraid that we will have another homewood. We placed True. But we don't perform well in the mornings.. We do good but not great. No one really does. But i'm hoping we will place. I think Personally that NEJ Gold Horizons actually have a chance of going to finals

No doubt that this will be a good comp., but I'm pretty sure Fame Chicago would be considered the Super Bowl of show choir this year. Check out the Fame Chicago thread under the National Comps in the main discussion board.

from the reply that i got, to quote it..." every score goes into the pot" so, in all technicallity...lol...finals could be composed of womens, mens, class A, and class AA...soo, hope that helped!

Making finals this coming weekend, to me, will be an equal feeling as making grand champion. the groups that will be there are ALL AMAZING and are all kind of expecting a spot in finals so it will be an interesting outcome. wow i can't wait!
anyways, i'm looking for the schedule for petal and don't really feel like reading through all of these posts. can anyone help me out?
on the other hand i'm super excited about seeing Mt. zion. not because they are fabulous but because they are from my homestate. i'm from Mundelein, Il and mt. zion is close. i'm looking forward to seeing a familar face among the southern crowd!
